Govt. responsible for terrorism in Kashmir: reaction ofJihadiShivsainiks to 'FACT' exhibition
August 21, 2007
Mumbai (Maharashtra): Responses given by twoJihadipersons who are office bearers of Shiv Sena are given below when they visited photo-exhibition devised by FACT on terrorism in Kashmir.
Azhar Surve, Group leader of Shiv Sena Brach No. 125: Terrorists cut limbs of people, broke their skulls and destroyed their houses and temples. All such things are result of the Government’s inaction. Had the Government been strong and firm with terrorists, such things would not have taken place. The Government seems to have given full freedom to terrorists to do whatever they want and commit such heinous crimes. Today we are unable to do anything in Kashmir; but we must be careful that Mumbai should not fall prey to terrorism and rather than all Hindus, every person as a human being, should come together against terrorism. Just one person or one organization can not stop terrorism; but only Shri. Balasaheb Thackeray, the Shiv Sena Supremo, has the power to prevent terrorism. I am very angry and perturbed to see the exhibition. We must motivate people to see the exhibition and create patriotism in them.
Mozam Surve, Vice-President of Consumer Section of Shiv Sena: Just holding such exhibitions would not have any effect on terrorism in Kashmir and the Government is responsible for the same. It is also the duty of the Government to stop terrorism.
Highlights
- Shri. Azhar Surve visited the exhibition 8 times
- Shri. Mozam Surve was explained by members of HJS that although it is the duty of the Government to curb terrorism, creating awareness among people is our job which will help to control terrorism. Shri. Surve agreed and praised the activities undertaken by HJS.

Overwhelming response from citizens
Preparedness to organise the exhibition elsewhere

This exhibition depicting the slaughter of Kashmiri Hindus by terrorists received such an overwhelming response that 1700 people visited it in 4 days. Several people requested the organisers to extend the exhibition and the HJS complied by doing so for another day. Till now the city councillors of the pro-Hindu parties Shiva Sena and BJP, ex-councillors, branch chiefs, sub-section chiefs, office bearers of the Ganeshotsav Mandals, school and college teachers and other well-known personalities expressed the desire to organise the exhibition in their areas. The Bhavanimata temple organises a number of spiritual programmes ranging from satsang to bhajans. To accommodate this exhibition the ‘Kalavati Aai sect’ changed the timing of its satsang. The Jeevan Vidya Mission, Swami Narayan Sect and Krushna Mahila Bhajani Mandal conducted their programmes on those days elsewhere. Shri Omkar Pande proprietor of the ‘Vaidyanath Ayurvedic Chywanprash’ company provided 50,000 pamphlets to publicise the event. Dattaram Decorators also assisted in setting up the exhibits.

Exhibition on “The truth of Terrorism” held at Ghatkopar
August 19, 2007
Ghatkopar (Maharashtra): We have completed 60 years of independent India and still the foot pints of terrorists activities can be seen all over the country. The issue of Kashmir and the terrorist’s activities that took birth along side our independence are on the increase day after day. The killing of the Hindus to try to end their religion is being done on a large scale. Thus, the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti organized a Fact exhibition on “The truth of Terrorism” at Ghatkopar (E), Mumbai on the platform of completion of 60 years of our Independence.
This exhibition organized on the occasion of 15th August was being held at Pantnagar Ghatkopar (E) in the premises of Bhavani Mata Mandir from the 15 – 19 of August.
On this occasion the Shivsena Minister Adm. Liladhar Dhake inaugurated the occasion by lightening a diya before the Bhavani mata and Shri H.B.P. Barikrao Gaykar Maharaj offered the coconut to the Bhavani mata after which the program begin.
At this time H.B.P. Barikrao Gaykar Maharaj and Adm. Liladhar Dhake were honored by Samiti’s District Representative Shri. Shivaji Vatkar and BJP Collector Shri Prakash Mehta and Shivsena north-east Mumbai Head Shri. Duttaram Gurjar were honored by Samiti’s guest Shri. Uday Dhuri and HJS Maharastra Spooksman Shri Ramesh Shinde was honored by Samitis Vibhav Afle. All the Speakers were then gifted with the Sanatan Sansthan published book “Kashmir Problem”.
On this occasion Samiti’s Shri Satish Kochrekar gave an introduction of the Samiti’s formation, work, aim and projects to the people who had attainted the program. There were around 200 people who had attainted this program. After which a documentary “…..and world stayed in peace” was shown.
H.B.P. Barikrao Maharaj said that “In Kashmir the religion is barely left. It is now the work of the Hindus to protect and rebuilt this religion. For this the blood of each Hindu should be spirited and every documentary and book over here has the capability to spirit the blood of the Hindus. The Hindu Janjagruti Samiti has been struggling to raise this religion”.
Adm. Liladhar Dhake said that “Different people have different opinions on how a life should be led. The Sanatan Sasthan and the HJS is also preaching its view to lead a life with unity to fight against the anti religious factors and the terrorism. Thus, we all should leave the differences like status, position, high, low etc. and work united to fight against the anti religion factors and terrorism. The HJS is struggling to awaken the people and to show them the truth of terrorism”.
Shri Dattaram Gurjar said that “the politicians are responsible for the sorry state in Kashmir. When the Kashmir people where facing injustice not one Hindu had got out on the roads to oppose it. It is a very sorry state that even it is so we Hindus talk about things like equality in religion, non violence, war for religion etc. If this state remains unchanged it is certain that the Hindus will become minority one day”.
Shri Prakash Mehta said that “ All the religious organization like the Varkari Samuday, Sanatan Sasthan, HJS etc. should come together and work unanimously to fight against the anti religious factors and terrorism. And the day this happens that shall be the day of end of Islam and terrorism.
HJS spokesman of Maharashtra Shri Ramesh Shinde said that “It is high time that the Hindus get awakened now. It is 17 years since the peace and religion in Kashmir got destructed. The Muslims from Bangladesh, Pakistan and India work united under the notion called “UMMA”.
The Muslims who were in majority at the before partition divided Hindustan and formed a separate country called Pakistan. Now they are on the rise and are conspiring to snatch Kashmir from India. Thus, we all Hindus should get united and see to it that they this conspiracy is uprooted. We should therefore organize such exhibitions from place to place to enlighten the mass”.
The program then came to end by the speech of Shri Naresh Surve who thanked all the people who assisted and helped the Samiti to organize this exhibition and by reciting the shloka “Sarvepisunaha Santu……..”
