Jagadguru, Kashi Peeth blesses HJS

By Staff Reporter

Solapur (Maharashtra):  The representatives of the government are elected by the people to look into public welfare activities and not to work as per their will. The government should therefore stop creating new anti-religious laws and concentrate on creating laws to support and encourage the religious activities in the country. The Hindus should revolt against this on mass scale unanimously. Until the Hindus unite and act their sentiments will not be recognized by the government. This firm opinion was given by Dr. Chandrashekhar Shivacharya Mahaswamiji, Jagadguru, Kashi Peeth while the representatives of the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti Shri. Yeshpal Vadkar, Shri Dattatreya Pisee and the Maheshwari Vedic Mandal’s Shri Basavraj Shastri had visited him at the Shivanubhav Hall here in Solapur.

Shankaracharya further said that the Hindus and its religious authorities are un-united. The Muslims have a religious organization called ‘Vakfa’ and the Christians are also having their own religious organization under which the religious authorities of their respective religion work from. Thus, the unity among the people of these religions does compel the government to cower while taking any decision concerned with their religious rights. Therefore, it is the need of the hour that all Hindus get united and work under a religious organization established by the authorities of the Hindu religion. Further the government should not be allowed to interfere in the matters of such Hindu religious organization formed by the Hindus.

We shall try to increase the time limit allotted by the government to collect public opinion against the anti-faith laws.

Shankaracharya further said that the time limit set by the government to collect the public opinion for the “Law of eradication of superstition” and “the Law- to take the possession of the religious places of the Hindus and their temples” was very little and they will try to get this time limit extended. He said he had already spoken in the press meeting for extending this time-limit. Further, he added that his blessings are there with the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti  for revolting against these anti-faith and anti-religious laws and that he would stand for the revolt and support them everyway possible by them. He further requested the public to support this moment and stand for this revolt to uproot these anti-faith laws.

Hindus, Time to act now!
