Kolhapur (Maharashtra): Shri. C.K. Kambale, a teacher from New English School for Girls at Malakapur in Kolhapur district ridiculed Lord Hanuman in the classroom. On receiving information about the same, members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) called on Shri. B.B. Mulik, the Superintendent of the school and explained to him about God's wrath due to such denigration. The HJS members warned him that if incidents of making mockery of deities or of great national leaders take place again, it will not be tolerated. Shri. Mulik then reproved the concerned teacher and enlightened other teachers on denigration of deities. Shri. Kambale teaches Marathi. On 4th July, in one of the classes, he commented that Maruti impregnated many women with his spittle; even a crocodile became pregnant. He then asked a disgraceful question to students that how can one call Maruti a 'Brahmachari/ celibate'. Some of the girls started laughing on hearing this question. Those girls, who could not bear such denigration of deity, approached Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. Members of HJS called on Shri. Mulik and made him understand the consequences of denigration. Shri. Sudhakar Mirajkar, a member of HJS said that thousands of devotees worship the deities to seek their grace. If teachers start making mockery of our deities, it will create a wrong impression on future generation about deities and we will be liable for their wrath. Shri. Mulik then reproached Shri. Kambale.
(If your blood does not boil on reading the above, you can not be a Hindu. Congratulations to these Hindu students for taking action against denigration of deities. - Editor)
