Thane (Maharashtra): Thane district Traffic Control Branch has prepared a book on ‘Road safety – Life safety’ for making people aware of traffic control and following of traffic rules. In a message to people in this book, Sree Ganesha, the deity worshipped by all Hindus and Yama-devata have been denigrated.

In one picture, Lord Ganesha says, “I got another head; but will you?” In another picture, a car-driver is shown talking over phone. He says, “I am on my way dear.” There in the heavens, ‘Yamaraj’ is shown saying, “Yes dear, I am waiting for you.”

(Would the Traffic Department dare to make use of ‘shraddha-sthanas’ of Muslims or Christians? Those Hindus whose blood does not boil on seeing such denigration are not Hindus! Hindus should demand explanation from Thane Traffic Control Branch – Editor)
