Tanapure Maharaj to create awareness through discourses
June 27, 2007
Pandharpur (Maharashtra): There is so much of corruption in temples and it is wrong to divert temple funds for benefit of followers of other religions. Our money should be used only for our temples. I am going to make people aware of the proposed ' Temple take over' Act and 'Anti-Superstitions' Act' through discourses. The above statement was made by Sree Baba Maharaj Tanapure, a keertankar. In the background of 'Dharma-sabha' held at Solapur, Shri. Santosh Patane and Shri. Rajendra Mali, members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) called on Maharaj when he informed them about his plan. Shri. Patane apprised Sree Baba Maharaj, in detail, about the two anti-Hindu Acts. Maharaj asked for relevant papers about the Act. He said that all Hindus should keep aside their differences and unite to protect Dharma.
