Upcoming Bollywood Movie “Happy New Year” denigrates Hindu Deities. Releasing this Diwali, the movie’s trailer picturises the actress performing pole dance accompanied by others performing rock dance in a pub. Background song with wordings – “Radhe Radhe, Jai Kanhaiya Laal ki” are exhibited with such derogatory scenes. This is sheer denigration of Hindu deities in the very form in which it is presented.

HJS has registered its protests against the same with the Censor board of Film Certification requesting not to certify the film and immediately stop showing the said trailer. Red Chillies Entertainments, the producer of the movie have also been communicated with the denigration of Hindu deities through an official protest letter on behalf of HJS.

In the letter, its stated further that, “Radha and Krishna (Kanhaiya) is a holy relation between a God and His devotee. “Radhe Radhe, Jai Kanhaiya Laal ki” is a proclamation by devotees to glorify Krishna. Movie song containing derogatory scenes, on one hand, promotes pub culture; and more importantly such devotional words are unnecessarily connected with such scenes on the other. This has hurt the religious sentiments of millions of Hindus worldwide. Also, there is every possibility that the movie may contain more such blasphemous scenes that denigrate Hindu Dharma and Culture. Additionally, New Year as per Hindu Dharma falls on Gudhipadwa (i.e. Chaitra Shukla Pratipada); however with this movie named “Happy New Year”, it promotes New Year as 31st December.

Now it is the duty of all devout Hindus across the world to protest lawfully against this denigration in the movie and ask Red Chillies Entertainment to tender unconditional apology to all Hindus for hurting their religious sentiments.

Devout Hindus are registering
their lawful protests on the following :
