Success Of HJS : Sheer Denigration of Lord Ganesh stopped !

When someone says Ganpati special sweets, the first thing that comes to mind is modak. But looks like Hyderabadis are game for some serious experimentation! And this year, some city folks are getting customised Ganpati cakes, to pep up the celebrations and give it a modern twist.

With festive fervour catching up with denizens, everyone wants to add a slight twist to traditional celebrations. Kavya Sukumar, a home-baker explains, “Traditionally, cakes are not made during Indian festivals. We still prefer the traditional sweets over everything else. But then, some people like to do things differently and that’s where the demand comes from.”

Above is the result of the lack of Dharma-Education (Dharmashikshan) amongst Hindus that has culminated them of “thinking something different”. However, this is sheer denigration of the Deity which is revered by hundreds of million Hindus worldwide. – Editor

When HJS learnt about this, the activists registered their lawful protests. Sweet Buds from Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad) were preparing such cakes on the occasion of Ganeshotsava. HJS activists contacted the owner and asked as well as convinced him that making Ganapati cake is wrong as per Dharmashastras. It hurts religious sentiments of Ganesh Devotees. He noted the activists’ points and assured that now onwards he will neither prepare nor take any order for such cakes.
