Hindus should realize that Hindu Rashtra is necessary for taking over management of temples by devotees from corrupt rulers !

People should get ready to oust such rulers who have, only for their selfish needs, wrested management of temples from devotees !

Pandharpur (Maharashtra) – The Government is looking after management of Sri Vitthal-Rukmini Temple through ‘Devasthan Samiti’; but greed of rulers is increasing day by day and the ‘Devasthan Samiti’ (Temple Administration) has now come forward to take over even 28 other temples of different Deities located in the vicinity of Sri Vitthal Mandir under the pretext of renovation of these temples. (It is a clear deception of devotees by ‘Devasthan Samiti’ (Temple Administration) to take over temples in the name of such a trivial matter. If ‘Devasthan Samiti’ really wanted to renovate these temples, who had stopped them all these years ? This ‘Samiti’ could have undertaken renovation of these temples even without taking over management of these temples ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

1. In January 2014, a case of State Government against ‘Badave-Utpat’ pending for last 30 years in Court was resolved and the Government has dismissed all existing priests by appointing new priests from other castes; including women.

2. The Government has not taken over other temples located outside Sri Vitthal Temple.

3. It has been decided to take over 28 small temples in the vicinity of Sri Vitthal Mandir for their renovation and regularly performing ‘puja’.

4. The above decision was taken in the meeting of ‘Devasthan Samiti’ held on 21st August.

5. There is not much hustle and bustle of devotees in these temples; but it was felt that if these temples were renovated, more devotees would visit them.

6. Devotees are, however, of the view that ‘Devasthan Samiti’ had an eye on the earnings of these temples and members of the Samiti want to replace priests even from these temples.
