Bhadrapad Shuklapaksha 13, Kaliyug Varsha 5116

Dhule (Maharashtra) – ANS (Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti) activists and the so-called environmentalists undertake a campaign of donating idols at the bank of the river Panzar to stop water pollution. Nothing is being done when dirty water of the slaughterhouse, rivulets, drains is being led into the river throughout the year. They raise objection to the immersion of idols only during Hindu festivals under the pretext of pollution. Therefore, a call was given by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at a press conference held at Marathi Patrakar Sangh in Dhule saying that – all should immerse their Ganesh idols in the flowing water only. Mr. Ravindra Nagrale of Dhule District Marathi Patrakar Sangh, Dr. Yogesh Patil of Yoga Vedant Samiti, Mr. Sanjay Sharma of National Action Committee, Swadeshi Pracharak, Mr. Vilas Rajput, Devout Hindu Mr. Nitin Ghati, Mr. Rakesh Nikam, Mr. Vijay Ugrej of Sanatan Sanstha, Mr. Pankaj Bagul of HJS were present on this occasion.

 UPDATES

 September 2, 2014

Bhadrapad Shuklapaksha 8, Kaliyug Varsha 5116

  • HJS’ campaign for Ideal Ganeshotsav

  • Municipality obstinate about immersing Ganesh Idols in the tank

Pune (Maharashtra) – Under the scheme of ideal Ganeshotstav, a campaign creating awareness about immersing the idol in flowing water was being undertaken by HJS on 30th August at Baba Bhide Bridge, SM Joshi Bridge, Onkareshwar bridge; so also at Thergao Ghat, Moraya Gosavi Ghat, Aundh Ghat at Chinchwad here. Samiti’s activists were explaining Dharmashastra (Science pertaining to Dharma) to devotees while inviting them to immerse their Ganesh idol in flowing water. Hand bills were also distributed. Responding to this call, many Ganesh devotees immersed their idols in the flowing water. They also expressed their belief of “immersing the idol as per Dharmashastra is their faith”.

Anti-Hindu Pune Municipality confused Ganesh devotees !

1. Some organizations show concern of the environment by unnecessary bellowing about water pollution due to Ganesh idols’ immersion only during Ganeshotsav,. This propaganda is has no scientific basis and Hindu devotees get confused.

2. In addition to this, sufficient arrangements were not made by the Pune Municipality for immersing the idols in the river; hence there was no other alternative for Ganesh devotees but to immerse their idols in the tank.

3. Employees of Pune Municipality were not appointed to check the immersion in the river at the Omkareshwar Ghat

4. Due to earnest pressing of the HJS workers, finally life guards were appointed; but they were not visible to the people.

5. Since there was no proper arrangement for immersion in the river, devotees were having difficulties while immersing their idol in the river.

6. Cars were parked on the road leading to the river on Baba Bhide Bridge; therefore devotees had a lot of inconvenience to reach the river.

7. Despite giving a representation to the Government, enough water was not released in the rivers.

Shravan Krushnapaksha 14, Kaliyug Varsha 5116

Nandurbar (Maharashtra) – Dr. Narendra Patil of ‘Gou-Raksha Samiti’ and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) explained during meeting of local ‘Peace Committee’ about how to celebrate Ganesha Festival in an ideal manner and avoid malpractices. The meeting was attended by 130 members including police officers and more than 20 fanatics. (Why should fanatics attend meetings held in context of Hindu festivals ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Ganesha-devotees also brought shortfalls of police to their notice.

1. Superintendent of Police, M. Rajkumar showed positive response in few points raised by HJS; but he diverted from the topics of ban on liquor, ban on sale of meat in the open, ban on cattle carried illegally for slaughtering and loudspeakers hooted in early mornings. (Hindus need to pursue the points which police avoided to discuss ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

2. HJS raised the point of sale of meat at open places while municipal administration was presenting its stand; but a Congress municipal councilor said that the point was not so important. (Such Congressmen are anti-Hindus ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Mulund (Maharashtra) – East-South Zone 7 of police administration held a peace committee meeting at Mulund when HJS showed VCDs on ideal manner of celebrating Ganesha Festival. 300 citizens including all local Ganesha Festival Committees, ‘Mahila Dakshata Samiti’ and citizens following different religions attended the meeting.

1. Dr. Uday Dhuri, spokesperson of HJS for Mumbai explained the purpose and outcome of celebrating Ganesha Festival.

2. Shri. Kulkarni, a police officer gave guidance on the topic of ‘Bomb and security’ with the help of VCD.

3. Additional Police Commissioner Shri. Sherring Dorjee said that everyone including police should carry out their duties with realization of God’s presence, then only they can lead fruitful life.

4. Dy. Police Commissioner Vinaykumar Rathod said the VCD shown by HJS was ideal and was an eye-opener. He also gave patient hearing to problems faced by citizens.

5. Assistant Police Commissioner of Mulund, Shri. Avhad extended full cooperation to HJS drive of ideal celebration of Ganesha Festival.

Highlights

Fanatics were volunteering to talk; but very few Hindus opened their mouth to express their opinion. (If Hindus prefer not to talk even in the meeting held for their festivals, it shows their apathy towards own Dharma. Hindu Rashtra is necessary to change this situation ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Celebrate Ganeshotsava in ideal manner as per Dharma-shastra, by avoiding malpractices !

August 23, 2014

Shravan Krushnapaksha 13 ,Kaliyug Varsha 5116

Press conference of HJS

Pune : Lokmanya Tilak started public celebration of Ganesha festival with the aim of uniting Hindus, and creating awareness amongst them towards protection of nation and Dharma; but presently, these basic objectives are not fulfilled as the malpractices in celebrating this festival are increasing; in fact, the sanctity of celebrating this festival has been destroyed. All Ganesha-Mandal / committees are therefore, requested to celebrate the festival in ideal manner as per Dharma-shastra; and acquire grace of Deity Sri Ganesha by avoiding wrong practices like causing noise and air pollution, gambling, teasing of women, holding indecent programs, waste of money in lighting / decorarions etc. The idols may be immersed in flowing water only as per the science.

The above appeal was made by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in a press conference held for the purpose at Patrakar Bhavan. The press conference was addressed by Sanatan Sanstha’s spiritually evolved seeker Sou. Rajashree Khollam, ‘Srushti Eco Research Institute’s Shri. Nitin Sardeshmukh, Shri. Sanjay Shelke, office bearer of ‘Dharmaveer Sambhaji Mitra Mandal’ from Thergaon and Shri. Parag Gokhale of HJS.

1. Shri. Nitin Sardeshmukh said, “The pollution caused in this festival is negligible and there is nothing to worry as it has been proved by scientific research that Plaster of Paris (PoP) does not cause pollution of any kind.”

2. Shri. Sanjay Shelke said that his festival committee has decided to celebrate this festival in an ideal manner as guided by HJS. Other drives like ban on cow-slaughter, ban on Chinese products will also be undertaken during this festival.

3. Shri. Chaitanya Tagade, a sculptor from ‘Shri. Ganesha Kala Kendra’, Pune stated that idols made of clay easily get dissolved in water and it is proper to use such idols as per the science. Idols made of paper are harmful for aquatic animals.

4.Sou. Rajashree Khollam made an appeal to Sri Ganesha devotees to visit, in large number, an exhibition being set up by Sanatan Sanstha at Pune and Chinchwad with the objective of explaining ideal manner of celebrating this festival as also about performing ‘puja’ of Sri Ganesha.

5. Shri. Parag Gokhale of HJS made a demand that the local civic Administration should make enough water available at places where immersion of the idols takes place.
