A flex chart depicting the ill-effects of ‘Love Jihad’

Pune : There was an echo of Hindu Unity once again in Pune in the grand and saffron procession (Shobhayatra) organised on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Vishwa Hindu Parishad on 17th August at 5 p.m. The Shobhayatra commenced after offering a garland to the statue of Swatantryaveer Savarkar near Sarasbag.

1. The whole atmosphere had turned saffron coloured due to the sound of beating big drums, saffron coloured Flags in the hands of young girls and boys attired in white, a float (Chitrarath) showing Swami Vivekanand and Akhand (Undivided) Bharat, a float/rath spreading the ritual of Agnihotra (Ritual relating to fire), National songs, and slogans of Hindutva.

2. Shobhayatra was welcomed at every place.

3. Dignitaries like BJP MP Mr. Anil Shirole, Ex. MP Mr. Pradip Ravat, BJP’s councillor, Mr. Shrinath Bhimale, VHP’s Prantsanghatakmantri Mr. Bhaurao Kudale, Prantsahamantri Mr. Vijayrao Karmarkar, Kshetriymantri Mr. Bhargav Sarpotdar, Mr. Pradip Chavhan, Mr. Kishor Chavhan, Mr. Bapu Ghatpande etc. were present on the occasion.

4. Activists of Panun Kashmir also had participated in the procession taking boards (Phalak) in hands opposing Kashimi’s Talibanism.

Highlights

1. Mr. Dhiraj Ghate had put up a flex chart depicting the ill-effects of ‘Love Jihad’ on a float. Handbills informing the need of Hindu Organisations to protest against ‘Love Jihad’ were distributed.

2. Handbills telling the importance of Agnihotra were distributed.
