The Hindu Aikya Vedi has opined that all reports being propagated in the name of communal riots, terrorism etc under the leadership of Indian National Congress Chief Minister Oommen Chandy are grossly misleading. At the state meeting, it was noted that the Chief Minister has been, till now, shielding those accused of fanning communal tensions and concealing craftily, all reports related to efforts aimed at terror strikes. Labeling Oommen Chandy as ‘Brand Ambassador of Fake Reports’ the group opined that Hindus in Kerala were not safe under his rule.

The statement by Union Home Ministry that there being no cases reported from kerala related to terror activities for last three years is based on the report given by state government. Kerala government is resorting to treason by faking reports related to our state’s internal security. There are two cases pertaining to Kannur police station and Nadakkavu police station, with crime numbers 276/13 and 533/13 respectively. Both are terror related cases. But the state government has craftily concealed this and has submitted a fake report, which is most deplorable,”  pointed out Hindu Aikya Vedi leaders.

“There are over 25 cases in Kasargode alone, pertaining to breech of national security, where no further investigation has taken place,” said leaders at the meet, chalking out a memorandum requesting state Home Ministry to complete all investigations as soon as possible. “Marad massacre, blasts at Beypore, Narikatteri, Confectionaries Street, Ernakulam Collectorate etc are case, where all afforts are being taken to hush the same up,” revealed sources from Aikya Vedi.

“Oommen Chandy government has in fact made Kerala a safe haven for terrorists. The moment the special investigation team looking into Marad massacre came up with the report that a Congress leader has direct links, the team was dismembered. Same is the case with Kasargode- Kanjangadu- Nadapuram violences,” lashed out HAV leaders.

Alleging that top terror kingpins of Indian Mujahideen, SIMI, Lashkar-e-Toiba etc frequented Kerala for pleasure trips, where they had close quartered discussions with leaders of various Islamic groups and ministers, Aikya Vedi castigated that all these remained merely as news pieces. “This itself is evidence that there is truth in these. The government must also clarify the visit paid by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to terror accused M’Adani. Kerala is now the place where plots related to smuggling of gold, weapons, arms and ammunition, black money and counterfeit currency originate,” said the leadership adding that escalating Maoist presence in the state is something that needs immediate attention.

The programme was inaugurated by state president of Hindu Aikya Vedi Sasikala Teacher. Other issues that were discussed were Government official's link with terror activities, Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple, Sabarimala Temple, implementing of Gadgil Commission report, seizure of temple land at Moorkanadu and police response towards the same, state’s internal security, human trafficking, denial of government towards Hindu Rights deceleration, communal attitude of Chief Minister, Hindu women’s groups, issues related to land, prohibition of alcohol consumption, various environmental issues etc.

It has been decided at the meet, to visit as many as 10 lakh houses, before 30 September to convey these glaring issues of reality, to the people. The meet also passed a resolution requesting the central government not to succumb to pressure exerted by mafia, communal leaders etc and and get Gadgil report implemented.
