We shall approach Court against decision of ban on Sriram Sena by Goa Govt : Pramod Mutalik

Belgaum (Karnataka) : ‘We will soon be approaching High Court against the unjust decision of the Goa Government and will open the branch of Shriram Sena in Goa, in a lawful manner.” This was stated by Mr. Pramod Mutalik, Chairman of the Shriram Sena. He was speaking in the press conference organised at Kannad Sahitya Bhavan in Belgaum, in the background of Goa BJP Government’s decision to extend the period of ban imposed on Shriram Sena.

Shri. Pramod Mutalik further said, “It is wrong to say that the environment in Goa will not remain peaceful when not a single case is registered in Goa against any of the activists of Shriram Sena,. Constitution has endowed every citizen with a fundamental right to visit other State and establish an organisation. As nobody can be hanged without establishing his guilt, in the same manner a ban cannot be imposed on any organisation unless any criminal acts or purpose is proved in a court of law. This is clearly mentioned in the Constitution of the nation. This goes to show the double-dealing work of the rulers in imposing a ban on the activists of Shriram Sena by wrongly interpreting the laws when such a ban cannot be imposed constitutionally. By imposing a ban on Shriram Sena in Goa, the Government is stooping before the drug Mafia in Goa. Goa State has allowed the entry to the ‘Popular Front Of India’ even though this organisation has activists indulging in extremely dangerous acts. The organisation, activists of which has severed the hand of a professor, from whom arms and objectionable literature has been seized, is allowed to hold agitations in Goa. However, the activists of Shriram Sena are refused entry into Goa. We think that this is nothing but a vote-bank politics of Hindutva. Though Shriram Sena is consistently accused by the media of so-called assault on pubs , the High Court has decided the same case in favour of Shriram Sena.

Goa : Ban on Sriram Sena in North Goa continued by State

October 16, 2014

Sriram Sena’s Chief Shri. Pramod Mutalik

Panaji (Goa) – District Collector of North Goa, Neela Mohanan dismissed the application submitted by Sriram Sena for lifting unjust ban. District Collector took into consideration report given by North Goa Superintendent of Police and past history of Sriram Sena; and based on which Sriram Sena’s application has been rejected; as such, ban under clause 144 (2) will continue.

Shri. Nagesh Takbhate, advocate pleaded for Sriram Sena. He argued on behalf of Sriram Sena that Sriram Sena and Shri. Pramod Mutalik, its Founder President have been participating in various programs held in Goa for the past 3-4 years. He has given interviews to different media channels but no complaint or offence has been registered against him during this period.

Sriram Sena is an organization which undertakes activities related to protection of nation and Dharma; by working within the periphery of law. As such, the order imposing ban on every member of Sriram Sena or all those, who are associated with Sriram Sena, is illegal. A petition was filed on 9th September 2014 under clause 144 (5) and (6) for amending the ban-order and giving Sriram Sena an opportunity to present its side; besides seeking permission to hold press conference for explaining the position.

The office of District Collector did not issue any notice to Sriram Sena before serving legal notice regarding ban as is the practice; nor were they given an opportunity to present their side. There has never been emergency-like situation created in Goa State due to which such one-sided order had to be passed under clause 144 (2). Even then, District Collector of North Goa took cognizance of complaint lodged by Tausif Sheikh, producer of ‘Triyatra’ titled ‘Akaantwadi Goaant Naakaa’; so also threat received over phone (there is a mention of even a phone call made by Shri. Pramod Mutalik) and based on that complaint, ban order was issued as if emergency situation existed in Goa. It is misuse of clause 144 (2) and ban on Sriram Sena is not justifiable.

Special hearing of the petition was completed on 11th October 2014 and final order was passed on 13th October 2014.

‘Sriram Sena will not be allowed to carry out its activities in Goa !’ – CM Manohar Parrikar

August 15, 2014

Shravan Krushnapaksha 4,Kaliyug Varsha 5116

CM Parrikar did not bother when Yasin Bhatkal visited Goa or when a Talibani leader attended a program in Goa !

Panaji (Goa) : ‘Few people are deliberately creating controversy with the help of media. Sriram Sena will not be allowed to carry out activities in Goa. Sriram Sena’s Pramod Mutalik will be banned from coming to Goa,’ stated Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on 12th August in Legislative Assembly. (Goa State has been struck with prostitution. Owing to emulating western culture, Goa has already become notorious at international level as a place where one easily gets liquor and prostitutes. Incidents of rape are also increasing in the State. In such situation, presence of an organization like Sriram Sena, fighting for protection of Hindu culture, is much essential in Goa. Hindus should now realize the need of such organization and pressurize the State Government for setting up Sriram Sena’s branch in Goa ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Former leader of Congress and an independent MLA, Vijay Sardesai asked a question in ‘zero’ hour about opposition to ‘tri-act’ titled ‘Akaantwaadi Goyant Naakaa’ claiming that threats given to the writer of ‘Tri-act’ was attack on freedom of expression. (Anti-Hindu Sardesai ! Why does Sardesai not talk about religious freedom of Hindus ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Chief Minister said, while answering the query, that few persons were bringing outside problems to Goa and making people fight against each other as two cocks are fed grains before starting fight between them. ‘Tri-act’ writer Tausif, Sriram Sena and Mutalik are throwing such grains and creating trouble in Goa. Mutalik stays at Hubli, so if ban is to be imposed on Sriram Sena, a representation will have to be given to Congress Government of Karnataka. Ban will be imposed on Mutalik if he comes to Goa. If Tausif is getting threatening calls, he should switch off his cell phone. Had he done it, there would have been no further development in this matter. I will give information, in detail, about the persons calling up Tausif. It is a deliberate sham; but such things will not be tolerated.

Tri-act’ people sometimes go overboard ! – accepts CM

‘Tri-Act’ Academy should impose some restrictions on their people as sometimes they go overboard. I have experienced it along with few other political leaders.

BJP Government in Goa spends lot of money on program in which dead body of Christian Saint is put on display; gives grant to Fanatics undertaking Haj pilgrimage; then why is BJP Government so much against only pro-Hindu organizations ? Is this religious harmony ? They should not forget that they have been elected to power with Hindus’ votes. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat
