HJS participates in seminar held by ‘Hindu Adhyatmik Seva Pratishthan’ at Chennai !

Chennai, 17th July – The conveners of Fair held on the grounds of Sri Ramchandra Medical University, Vasudevnagar, in Thiruvanmayur, had invited Sou. Uma Ravichandran of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to take part in the seminar on the topic of ‘Women’s role in preserving family values’. The seminar was held on 12th July and was presided over by Dr. P. Kanagasabhapati, a Chartered Accountant and Director of ‘Center for Indian Economics and Cultural Studies’; along with Shri. Muralidharan, the Convener of ‘Swadeshi Jagaran Manch’. 70 ‘jidnyasus’ took part in the Seminar; and it was concluded with ‘question- answer’ session.

Q : Why do the mass-media not take note of this program when such important topic is being discussed ?

Answer : Shri. Muralidharan said, “Yes, it was unfortunate.” Sou. Uma Ravichandran said, “We watch many Islamic and Christian channels on TV; but there is not a single channel for Hindus; therefore, media do not take note of Hindus’ programs and there is dire need for TV channel for Hindus.”   

Q : Can we not take help of the Government for propagation of Hindu Dharma and Hindu culture ?

Answer : The President called upon Sou. Uma Ravichandra only to answer this question who said, “Nothing is impossible if Hindus work with unity in ‘Kali-Yuga’. We cannot expect help from the Government for such activity as the Government works only with political motive. They are not bothered about principles. We can unite Hindus through such type of seminars and meetings.”

Q : Why do Indian youth get attracted towards US despite her difficult financial position ?

Answer : Shri. Muralidharan presented audio-video program on this subject. He said, “These young men will slowly realize the situation.” Emphasizing the importance of ‘Dharma-shikshan’ (Dharma Education) he said, “All devout Hindus should take part in ‘Dharma-prasar’ so that things like science behind the correct way of inauguration etc. can be taught to Hindus through the medium of ‘Dharma-shikshan’.”    

HJS explained importance of ‘Dharma-shikshan’ with references to Saints and examples of few local incidents. Shri. Kanagasabhapati lauded HJS for this program.  Women attending the seminar said that they could learn many things through the seminar and promised to propagate the subject amongst others.
