Pujyapad Asharamji Bapu’s bail plea rejected by Supreme Court

It is expected that the investigation of such issues be wrapped up in a couple of days, but nearly a year on, the judiciary is miles away from even starting hearings in the case! We need to change this incompetent system !

New Delhi: The Apex Court refused to grant bail to Pujyapad Santshri Asharam Bapu who has been jailed on an alleged case of rape. The Court has also directed that Pu. Asharamji Bapu should approach the Gujarat High Court in this matter. Despite rejecting the bail plea in the Gujarat case, the court has agreed to hear the case filed in Rajastha. The Apex court has also issued a notice to the Rajasthan Government regarding this.
