Bangalore : Over the last few decades, India has lost many of its prominent political leaders, such as Lal Bahadur Shastri, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Madhav Rao Scindia to name a few, from unnatural deaths like accidents, assassinations and attack by the militants during their prime time.

The most recent deaths of two BJP bigwigs just in three days gap in the capital are in a way an alarm to the leaders to stay alert regarding their security measures.  This is because, at times what seems to be 'accidents' are many times a pre-planned murders for a specific objective. Even India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi though a popular choice for the country’s highest post, his life is under threat from many terror outfits, reports South China Morning Post.

The sole reason behind all the terror outfits putting Modi in their hit-list is because under his leadership as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, 2,000 Muslims were massacred by Hindu mobs in 2002 and they held him responsible.

Some terror outfits has issued a direct threat stating that Modi will be killed, if he takes the charge as PM. Homegrown terror outfits like the Indian Mujahideen and the banned Students Islamic Movement of India emerges as the biggest threat to this highly active PM of the country.
