Raipur : Woman held for forcing daughters to sleep with her jihadi boyfriend

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) : A 36-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly forcing her two daughters, including a minor girl, to have sex with her boyfriend in Chhattisgarh's tribal-dominated Jashpur district, the police said on Wednesday.

The woman's boyfriend, Zumman Khan (24) has also been nabbed.

Leelavati Yadav was arrested for allegedly pressurising her daughters to have a sexual relationship with her 24-year-old boyfriend, Kansabel Station House Officer Anita Prabha Minj told PTI.

The duo were booked under Section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), Section 109 (punishment of abetment) and Section 114 (abettor present when offence is committed) of the Indian Penal Code and provisions of the Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act 2012, she said.
According to the SHO, after the death of her husband in 2009, Leelavati had an affair with Zumman.

Four years ago, they started living together and the woman's daughters who are 18 years old and 16 years old also stayed with them.

Meanwhile, the woman allegedly told her daughters to have sex with her boyfriend. When they refused, they were allegedly beaten up brutally, she said.

"The incident happened several times during the past two years," the SHO said.

On March 30 this year, after her elder daughter refused to sleep with Zumman, the accused allegedly removed her clothes and brutally thrashed her.
Both sisters fled their house on May 26 after they were again ill-treated by their mother and reached their grandfather's house, she said.

When the girls' relatives learnt about it, they lodged a complaint on Monday, she said.

The accused were produced before a local court of Jashpur district which sent them to judicial remand, she said.
