Noise pollution from Dargahs and Masjids under check following agitation by Rashtreeya Hindu Andolan

Sangli (Maharashtra) : Recently various Hindu organizations under the aegis of Rashtreeya Hindu  Andolan had submitted a petition to the DC here regarding the noise pollution from the hooters used in Masjids and Dargahs. Following this, it was noticed that the 'azaan' from certain dargahs in the Municipal area was not being called out before 6 a.m. Also, certain other Masjids had reduced the volume of the speakers. ( The Hindus should not feel contented with this development. They should strive to ensure that the Supreme Court's directives are followed to the letter all over Bharat – Editor, DSP )
