1. Representation given in office of seven national parties after Rashtreeya Hindu Andolan

Demonstrations were held on 2nd March 2014 under Rashtreeya Hindu Andolan at Jantar Mantar in Delhi for the demand that political parties should include Hindus’ demands in their election manifesto. 35 pro-Hindu activists participated in the demonstrations. A representation was given to offices of 7 political parties after the demonstrations.

2. Participation in demonstrations against change of name of Sri Shankaracharya Hill

Demonstrations were held to oppose change of name of Sri Shankaracharya Hill in Srinagar to ‘Takhta-E-Suleiman’. The demonstrations were held jointly by devout Hindus from Jammu-Kashmir and pro-Hindu organizations at Jantar- Mantar, New Delhi. Activists of HJS took part in these demonstrations.   

3. Exhibition of books and ‘sattvik’ products held during all-India spiritual
convention, draws attention of many Saints and they demand for holding such exhibition in their ashrams

All-India Spiritual Convention was held at Swami Atmanand Ashram, Amrutsar, Punjab between 15th and 26th March 2014. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held an exhibition of books, ‘Dharmashikshan’ banners and ‘sattvik’ products during this Convention. Shri. Suresh Munjal, State Coordinator of HJS for Punjab and Haryana was given an opportunity to address the convention. Many Saints demanded to hold such exhibition in their ashrams after visiting this exhibition.

4. Participation in Punjab Gou-raksha Dal

Punjab Gou-raksha Dal, Rajpura, Punjab had organized a program at Delhi for promoting protection of cows in which Shri. Suresh Munjal and Shri. Daivesh Redkar took part.

5. Holding exhibition during gathering

RSS had organized a gathering at Mathura on the occasion of Hindu New Year in which HJS held book-exhibition for 2 days.

6. Good response to New Year program held on Gudhi Padava !

HJS had organized collective celebration of Gudhi Padava in Sri Ramkrushna Mandir, Sector 19, Faridabad, Haryana. ‘Homa-havan’, hoisting ‘Gudhis’ and making offering to Sun God (Arghya) was the nature of the program. Pundit Suresh Shastri performed ‘Homa-havan’. The material required for the ritual was given by ‘Pradhan’, Dr. R. D. Bansal. An exhibition of boards on ‘Dharma-shikshan’ was held during the program which attracted attention of devotees.
