‘Yes, Hindutva is Rashtriyatva (nationalism) for us !’ – Uddhav Thackeray

Ratnagiri : “We are branded as communal and sectarians whenever we talk about ‘Hindutva’; but I want to tell that yes, I am a Hindu and ‘Hindutva (Hindusim)’ is our nationalism,” stated Shiv Sena’s Chief Executive Uddhav Thackeray promoting ‘Hindutva’ during election campaign of ‘Mahayuti’ at ‘late Pramod Mahajan Sports Complex’, Ratnagiri. (Shri. Uddhav Thackeray has been moulded under the influence of Shiv Sena Chief Balasaheb Thackeray; therefore, he can make such statement and Hindus feel secure with Shiv Sena ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Shri. Vinod Tawade, MLA, Shri. Rajan Salvi, MLA, Shri. Sadanand Chavan, MLA, Shiv Sena’s District Chief Shri. Rajendra Mahadik, Shri. Sachin Kadam, BJP’s regional spokesperson, Shri. Bal Mane, District President, Shri. Sachin Vahalkar, IRP’s Shri. Dayanand Mohite; besides other office bearers shared the dais with him. There was huge gathering of Mahayuti’s members and other citizens for the meeting.

Shri. Uddhav Thackeray said,

1. Sonia Gandhi, who calls us communal, should explain why her meetings at Sakharinate and Jaitapur were cancelled. During agitation of Jaitapur’s atomic project, Tabrez Ali was shot dead when we did not see whether he was a Muslim or a Hindu. Then why are the rulers sowing seeds of  poison ? Those, who love this country, let them be from any religion; are our brethren. Our war is against Pakistanis and Bangla Deshi infiltrators. Our ‘Hindutva’ does not mean Muslim-hatred.
2. Due to Congress, the name of our country is maligned and it’s known as a country of corrupt and rapists. Voting for Congress will be like voting for those whose mentality is of rapist. Our ideal is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Like these Congressmen, Ranze Patil had become insolent; but Shivaji Maharaj had chopped off hands and legs of rapist Patil. This Maharashtra is of Shivaraya who used to teach lesson to persons of rapist’s mentality. We will never allow putting blot on the name of Shivaraya’s Maharashta.
3. Think about in whose hands you are going to entrust our future and our country while giving your vote. We have finalized name of Modi after thinking very carefully. His name was suggested considering his trustworthiness and his achievements. On one side, there is ‘Hindutva’ and on the other side, there is darkness. Voting for Congress means supporting Mulayam Singh’s Government; the same Mulayam Singh who had shot dead many ‘Karsevaks’ and who has not yet improved. He says that children are after all children; if they indulge in rape, why should they be hanged ? Never vote for such persons who have mentality of rapists.
4. If one is educated that does not mean he becomes wise. Whether a person is a doctor or a butcher should be indicated through his acts. I want to ask a question to those who are criticizing Vinayak Raut based on his education that Vasant dada Patil had studied upto 7th standard; but his name tops the list of important Chief Ministers of the State. Shiv Sena Chief had stopped going to school after 6th standard because there was no money; but he created history.
5. Rane’s bullying would not do. His bullying in Shiv Sena led to his expulsion from the party. After licking Sonia Gandhi’s feet, he was admitted to Congress Party. His bullying is done only over weak and not over strong. If you are firm, people like him would get scared and run away.
6. If Jaitapur project is good, it can be shifted to other State; we are ready to sacrifice for the welfare of the country. For 40% electricity generation, people will face 100 % danger. There will not be more demonic project than this in the whole world.
7. We will not raise our hand against anyone; but we will not spare anyone raising hand on us and pull out hand of such person. We do not want progress founded on the graveyards of local people.
8. Land belonging to the poor is grabbed and they are killed. What happened to Ramesh Govekar, Satyavijay Bhise, Shridhar Naik and Ankush Rane; they were killed. Those, who were caught as accused, have been released, then where are the real culprits ? It is not Mughal regime that anyone can get away with anything. This is Shivaraya’s Maharashtra. Once we are elected, we will go to the root-cause and punish the guilty. Shivashahi will not tolerate crimes and corruption.
