Protest : Big Bazaar advertisement insulting Hindu Dharma

Chaitra Shuklapaksha 14, Kaliyug Varsha 5116

Appeal to devout Hindus

‘Making India beautiful’, a recent advertisement of Big Bazaar insults Hindu Dharma. In the above advertisement, it is shown that a ‘modern stylish’ young girl enters temple ‘in style’ and call deity as ‘Hi Bhagwan ji’. Then while taking ‘prasad’ from the Hindu priest she says ‘See ya’, then priest replies ‘See ya’, then while giving prasad to other woman, priest says ‘Jai Siyaram’. For some time, recitation of mantras is going on in the background. To sum up, this advertisement is made for promotion of ‘Denims’ in Big Bazaar, but the manner in which it is presented, insults Hindu Dharma. The manner in which the girl ‘talks’ with the God and the priest is not proper. A devotee should go to temple with utmost devotion and spiritual emotion to get maximum spiritual benefit and not in the manner shown in the advertisement. Hence it is duty of all devout Hindus to protest lawfully against insult of Hindu Dharma by Big Bazaar so that it should remove this advertisement and Big Bazaar should also render unconditional apology to Hindus. Hindus should boycott Big Bazaar and its sister brands like Future Bazaar completely, until demands of Hindus are met.

Devout Hindus can send their lawful protest directly to the concerned authorities through Comments Section.
