Mumbai – Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Sanatan Sanstha took out processions to welcome New Year on the day of Gudhi Padva at various places like Vile Parle, Andheri, Jogeshwari, Malad, Borivali, Vasai, Nalasopara, Palghar, Boisar etc. At many places Sanatan seekers performed ‘puja’ of the ‘Gudhi’ as per science, in the beginning of such processions.

HJS demonstrated how to perform ‘Gudhi-pujan’ at Panchganga Housing Society, Nayadu Colony, Ghatkopar (E); and Tata Colony, Boisar (E). Hindus attending the program were watching the demonstration with curiosity. Many people said that they did not know the science about the same.

Feedbacks given by dignitaries after ‘Gudhi Padva’ program at Akhil Bhatwadi Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava Mandal (Sri Siddhiganesh Mandal), Bhatwadi, Ghatkopar

  1. Shri. Ravindra Ghag, Trustee, Akhil Bhatwadi Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava Mandal (Sri Siddhiganesh Mandal) –  In between period, it was felt that Hindu culture and traditions were going to be eliminated; but HJS and other pro-Hindu organizations have given new radiance to Hindutva. HJS has been giving guidance to Hindus and its activities are commendable and they should continue such activities.
  2. Shri. Vijay Varpe, Jijau Pratishthan, President – Such programs will help new generation to understand importance of Hindu Dharma. Nobody can cause harm to Hindu Dharma till organizations like HJS are there.
  3. Shri. Ashok Mirgule, Chief Executive, (Akhil Bhatwadi Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava Mandal (Sri Siddhiganesh Mandal), Bhatwadi –  Mission of HJS and Sanatan is most laudable.

‘Dharma-shikshan’ class has been started in the temple every Thursday and trustees of the temple have started subscribing to ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ for devotees.
