Prompt note taken of HJS letter !

Shirsoli (Dist. Jalgaon, Maharashtra) – Cows are not slaughtered at this slaughter –house and animals are killed only after checking is done by veterinary doctors. Proper cleanliness is maintained and ‘Gou-mata (cow)’ is not killed. A letter has been given to District Animal Husbandry officers in this respect and such notice has been issued to meat sellers. It has not been recommended to close down the slaughter-house. Construction of modern slaughter-house is under way and till then this slaughter house cannot be closed down. A letter to the above effect has been written by Jalgaon Municipal Corporation (JMC) to HJS on 20th March. (Even if modern slaughter-house is built, there is possibility of cow-slaughter; therefore, Hindus will still oppose it ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

HJS had sent a letter to District Animal Husbandry on 15th March about illegal slaughtering at slaughter-house in Shirsoli (Dist. Jalgaon). It was stated in the letter that cows should not be slaughtered. If it is observed that cows are slaughtered, legal action will be taken as per rules. JMC has taken note of HJS letter and promptly sent a reply.
