Now it is duty of all Hindus to protest lawfully against such move insulting Shri Hanuman ! – Editor

Mumbai : The makers of Sunny Leone-starrer Ragini MMS 2 have decided to open the film credits with montages of Hanuman Chalisa.

Previously too, Ragini MMS (2011) contained the prayer revealing producer Ekta Kapoor’s superstitious side.

“Ekta believes that the incorporation of the prayer has been lucky and will ward off any unwanted negativity against the film given its horrex (horror and sex) genre,” sources said.

“The film will begin with a special montage of scenes from the original cut to the auspicious Hanuman Chalisa,” sources added.

Police refuse permission for holding demonstrations against film ‘Ragini MMS 2’ !

March 25, 2014

Pune : ‘Ragini MMS 2’ is an indecent film which begins with ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ (Incidents of hurting religious sentiments of Hindus are taking place due to lack of unity amongst them. There is no alternative to establishment of Hindu Rashtra ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had gone to police station to seek permission for holding demonstrations against such film at 4 theatres; but police refused to grant permission giving excuse of implementation of election code of conduct. (Hindus need to realize value (?) of their religious sentiments in view of police ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

1. HJS activists had gone to submit application for holding demonstrations in front of ‘Big Cinema’ at Chinchwad, Pune when police officer, Shri. Shedge and Shri. Sawant were present. They said, “What is the use of shouting on the road? You meet owners of theatres and ask them to stop showing this film. Such agitations have no effect. It only creates nuisance for us. You are doing all these things for publicity; your work is political. The area, where you want to hold demonstrations, is not within our jurisdiction; so you give application to the concerned police station.”

2. HJS activists went to Market yard police station for permission to hold demonstrations in front of ‘City Pride’ theatre on Satara Road (Pune). Police officer Babur gave excuse of code of conduct and refused permission.

3. HJS was to hold demonstrations, in lawful manner, in front of ‘City Pride’ theatre at Kothrud at 5.00 p.m.; but police granted permission on 23rd March and served a notice to two activists of HJS on 24th March only 4 hours before the scheduled time of demonstrations. Police stated that ‘under election code of conduct, people cannot gather at one place as per clause 149. You can hold demonstrations; but in case law and order problem is created, you will be held responsible for the same’. HJS had to cancel demonstration due to such willful behavior of police.

Sambhajinagar – Demonstrations were to be staged on 25th March in front of ‘Sadiya’ theatre; but senior police inspector Govardhan Kadekar from Kranti Chowk police station refused permission in the name of election code of conduct. (Police, who give excuse of code of conduct only to Hindus for their agitations, allow political meetings in which crude language is used. Workers of political parties resort to fighting with each other, there is stampede; still police do not object. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Stop shows of Hindi film ‘Ragini MMS 2’ immediately which propagates vulgarity and hurts religious sentiments of Hindus ! – Demand by HJS

March 24, 2014

Mumbai :  ‘Ragini MMS 2’ is a vulgar film. By including ‘Sri Hanuman Chalisa’ in the beginning of such film, Hindus’ religious sentiments have been hurt. Inclusion of Sri Hanuman Chalisa, which describes qualities of Hanuman, in the beginning of a vulgar film, is grave insult of Bhagavan Hanuman. Denigration of Hanuman done through this film has resulted in hurting religious sentiments of billions of Hindu all over the world. ‘Ragini MMS 2’, a film that propagates vulgarity and hurts Hindus’ religious sentiments should be immediately banned. A representation to the above effect was submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to the owners of theatres. It has been stated in the representation that

1. Sri Hanuman is revered by and worshipped by all as a confirmed bachelor and his qualities and morality has been described even in Ramayana through many incidents. Hindus read ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ with lot of faith; therefore, inclusion of Hanuman Chalisa in the beginning of a film like ‘Ragini MMS 2’ is a serious denigration of Deities and attack on Hindu culture. It should be stopped immediately.

2. Sunny Leon, a Canadian film actress known as ‘Porn Star’ is in the lead role in this film. All roles so far enacted by this actress have crossed all limits of decency and are against Indian culture.

3. Media has mentioned in review of the film that inclusion of ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ in the film can create tension amongst Hindus. By showing such films, we are also in a way responsible to increase religious tension in society.

4. Theatre-owners should give importance to welfare of society and country rather than business creating an ideal before others and stop shows of this film; else strong agitations would be staged.

Police refuse permission to HJS for staging demonstrations against film ‘Ragini MMS 2’

March 24, 2014

Dombivali : The vulgar film ‘Ragini MMS 2’ starts with recitation of ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ ( Central Film Censor Board refuses permission to films like ‘Ya Ruub’ showing facts about Muslims because they would oppose the film; but the same Censor Board extends permission to films which denigrate Hindu Deities because Hindus are not united and has no curb over anyone in this country; therefore, Hindu Rashtra is required ! – Editor, Daink Sanatan Prabhat ) Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) was to hold demonstrations on 23rd March at Dombivali against the film for hurting religious sentiments of Hindus; but police giving the excuse of election code of conduct, refused permission for holding demonstrations. ( Does it mean that anyone can hurt religious sentiments of Hindus during the period of election code of conduct ? Will police refuse permission to fanatic Muslims if they had asked for permission to stage demonstrations against hurting of their religious sentiments? And if such permission was refused, what would have been its effect ? Does it mean that police understand only the method of protest used by fanatic Muslims ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )

1. The film is shown at ‘Tilak’ and ‘Gopi’ theatres from 21st March. ( People should boycott films that cause harm to society ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )

2. The film has vulgar and sensual scenes and it starts with ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ insulting Hanuman i.e. religious sentiments of all Hindus. ( The film has been produced by a Hindu like Ekata Kapur. Such Hindus are real enemies of Hindu Dharma. Hindus lead in committing these sins due to lack of ‘Dharma-shikshan’ ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )

3. Demonstrations were to be held in front of these theatres for registering protest and creating awareness amongst people. Applications seeking permission were given to Ramnagar and Vishnunagar police stations in Dombivali East and West respectively; but the permission was refused by police. ( Political meetings are allowed to be held which are attended by thousands of people. In such meetings, rulers throw muck at each other and activists fight amongst themselves; but they are granted permission and police refuse permission to those who want to register protest using the path of peace as per their right conferred by Indian Constitution. Cases should be filed against such police for attacking personal freedom. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )

4. Senior Police Inspector, Arjun Rane of Vishnunagar Police Station has said while giving verbal and written warning that permission would not be given for demonstrations when election code of conduct was under implementation. Action would be taken if demonstrations were held. ( Police, who threaten Hindus, get beaten up by fanatics and still keep quiet ! If such people are killed by jihadi terrorists, why will Hindus feel bad ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )

5. Police suggested few ways to protest like filing of case in Court; lodging complaint with Censor Board, distribute handbills etc. rather than holding demonstrations. ( Police giving free advice ! Will police give information about films removing objectionable portion like vulgarity or denigration, using such means of protest ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )
