H. H. Swami Govindadevagiri Maharaj pays visit to Sanatan Ashram at Ramnathi, Goa !

Ramnathi (Goa) : H. Swami Govindadevagiri Maharaj, the President of ‘Akhil Bharateeya Saints Committee’ (earlier known as Acharya Kishoreji Vyas) paid a visit to Sanatan Ashram at Ramnathi, Goa. Shri. Chetan Rajhans, a seeker from the ashram explained to him about activities undertaken in the ashram related to nation, Dharma and research in spiritual science.

Pujya Shri. Pruthviraj Hazare, former Editor of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ periodicals felicitated H. H. Swami Govindadevagiri Maharaj on behalf of Sanatan ashram by presenting shawl, sreephal and some gift. Thereafter, H. H. Govindadevagiri Maharaj felicitated H. H. Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavale, the source of inspiration of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

H. H. Swami Govindadevagiri Maharaj said on the occasion, “I have read biography of H. H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj (Inspiration behind Sanatan Sanstha). I was surprised to see that his work has expanded so much like a big banyan tree (i.e. Sanatan Sanstha).” On this H. H. Dr. Athavale said, “This work is going on only because of blessings of Baba (H. H. Bhaktaraj Maharaj)."

On hearing about Sanatan’s Hindu Dharma-Deeksha Kendra, Swamiji said, “I have re-named ‘Vadhu’ village as ‘Shambhu-teertha’ where there is Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s ‘samadhi’. Like ‘Masurashram’, purification of converted Hindus is undertaken at ‘Ghar-Vapasi Kendra’.”

H. H. Dr. Athavale lovingly extended to him invitation to attend ‘All India Hindu Convention’ scheduled to take place in June and H. H. Swamiji gladly accepted the invitation.

1. The work undertaken by Sanatan is miraculous. It involves spirituality so also ‘Raj-Dharma’.

2. Awareness created by Sanatan Sanstha during Kumbh-Mela was unforgettable. I told all Sadhus and Saints gathered there that if they wanted to do something for Dharma, they should follow Sanatan seekers; then only revolution would be possible.”

3. Sanatan’s books have the best explanations; their presentation is also scientific. I have read many books.

4. Inspiration behind Hindu Rashtra and its nurturing is taking place here in Sanatan ashram. Sanatan activities will establish new nation by burning all old things.

5. I feel closeness with all those working for Hindu Rashtra. Whenever Sanatan seekers come to meet me, I give them preference over others.

1. You (H. H. Dr. Athavale) are a sage. I wanted to meet you for a long time and my wish has been fulfilled today. I am very happy.

2. You are a prophet of God. The requirement felt today for God, nation and Dharma, has been taken care in your form. God has sent you for His mission. The work done by you and the way, seekers have been moulded by you, everything is incomparable.

3. You are accomplishing mission of 2-3 births in this birth only. Similar mission, as undertaken by you, needs to be undertaken all over India!

H. H. Swami Govindadevagiri Maharaj is the founder of ‘Maharshi Veda Vyas Pratishthan’ and President of ‘Akhil Bharateeya Saints Committee’. He has been initiated by Shankaracharya Swami Shri. Jayendra Saraswati of Kanchi – Kamkoti Peetha.  Swamiji has studied religious scriptures like Srimat Bhagavat Geeta, Mahabharata, Ramayana, Dnyaneshwari, Daas-bodh, Yoga Vasishtha etc. and conducts discourses on these scriptures in India and abroad.
