Warning by pro-Hindu activists in demonstrations held by
Rashtreeya Hindu Andolan for Hindus from Bangladesh and against indifferent Indian Government

Pune (Maharashtra) : Minority Hindus from Bangladesh are facing severe oppression and their population has come down to 9 % from 26 %. Incidents like raping Hindu women, destroying Hindus’ temples, looting Hindus’ houses and shops are taking place regularly. Indian Government which gives all facilities like ration card etc. to Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators; has no time for minority Hindus in Bangladesh. Indian Government should give up its indifference and take Bangladeshi Government to task about security of Hindus; also a team of judges should be sent there for protecting human rights. It needs to be remembered that Hindus helped Bangladesh to get freedom; but it can be taken back if oppression of Hindus is not stopped’, said Shri. Parag Gokhale Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for Pimpri- Chinchwad. Intense demonstrations were staged on 16th February at ‘Goodluck Chowk’ on Fergusson College Road demanding to stop oppression of Hindus in Bangladesh. More than 150 devout Hindus took part in the demonstrations. Signature drive was also undertaken on this occasion.

Response of Hindus

Shri. Shyam Deshpande, city-Chief, Shiv Sena : I openly condemn atrocities against Hindus in Bangla Desh. Bangla Deshi infiltrators are getting citizenship and spreading all over the country. Shiv Sena Chief Balasaheb Thackeray had warned Congress about it. Shiv Sena is with HJS in this. Uniting only for staging demonstrations is not enough; but it is necessary to vote for Hindus who work for Hindus’ interests.

Shri. Manoj Mahajan, devout Hindu : Hindus are facing oppression since the regime of Mughals. Marrying Hindu women and forcing them to take wrong path, is their weapon. Appeasement of minority needs to be stopped and Hindus should get justice.

Shri. Vikram Marathe, Patit Pavan Sanghatana, Pune city vice president : Hindus are oppressed in Bangla Desh. We support this agitation held for opposing such oppression. We will participate in any agitation held by HJS.
