Police conduct inquiry of Shri. Shivaji Vatkar of HJS for opposing Christian missionary’s program

Magh Krushnapaksha 2, Kaliyug Varsha 5115

On 12th February 2014, K. Shyam Kishore, a Christian missionary was to address a meeting called ‘Tumhari Changai ka Din’ in Mumbai. Shri. Shivaji Vatkar, District Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had sent a letter to Somaiyya Trust realizing ploy of conversion of Hindus through the meeting demanding its cancellation. In this connection, a policeman from Mumbai Police Zone 4, Intelligence Department called up Shri. Vatkar on 9th February at 3.00 p.m. when the following conversation took place.

Police (P): I want to talk about the program of Christians being held at Somaiyya ground. We received your letter sent through e-mail opposing this program; but have you given it to the concerned police station ?

Shri. Vatkar (V): We have given it to Somaiyya Trust.

P: If you have objection to such programs, the letter should be given to the concerned police station, to Joint or Dy. Police Commissioner.

V: As per our information, a devout Hindu has lodged a complaint with police station in this regard.

P: Who and in what context ? (It shows lack of coordination amongst police. How can such police machinery solve problems of people ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

V: It will be better to get details from the concerned police station.

P: In case of objection to any program, police can find solution to problem provided information and complaint about such program is given to concerned police station because police can call both the groups to police station for finding a way out. (Considering experience of Hindus, it is observed that police call both groups; have useless discussions; allow anti-Hindus to talk against Hindu Dharma in the name of freedom of speech. Police do not cancel such programs; in fact, provide security for the program  and issue notices to pro-Hindu activists, taking action against them and intimidating complainant; therefore, why would Hindus go to police ?- Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

V: In Sion area, posters have been displayed by that Christian promising to cure deafness, dumbness, blindness besides cancer TB, AIDS and mental diseases, problems of possession by evil souls, financial problems or family problems with the grace of Jesus. An appeal has been made to attend this meeting for above reasons. It is an offence to advertise such things or helping such things under ‘Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisement) Act, 1954’. Why don’t police see and file case against him ?Also, one person tried to lodge complaint with Wadala police station, but police are not registering his complaint. (Congratulations to Shri. Shivaji Vatkar of HJS for making police aware in right words ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

P: If you have objection to such programs, representation should be given to the concerned police station, to Joint or Dy. Commissioner. If police station is not taking any action, complaint should be lodged with senior officer. Everyone should be informed when some social work is done in lawful manner. If proper action is taken, there is no confusion.

V: We always do everything in lawful manner; therefore, we wrote to Somaiyya Trust.

P: Officers take necessary action; so you should inform them.

V: OK

Grave deception of Hindus by police by granting permission to program of K Shyam Kishore, a Christian missionary !

Police from Intelligence Department conducted inquiry of Shri. Shivaji Vatkar of HJS on 9th February. Then, on 11th February, police informed over phone that K. Shyam Kishore’s program would not be held; but the program was held on 12th February. HJS is seeking legal advice for taking action against the concerned. (Thus, police have cheated Hindus by granting permission for such program. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
