Ahmednagar: Dr. Manoj Shete, a 'Shiv-chitrakar' and a patriot informed that so far about five lakh letters have been sent to the President Dr. Abdul Kalam in support of death sentence to Mohammad Afzal, a terrorist and mastermind behind the attack on Parliament; but no response has been received from Rashtrapati Bhavan. (Does the President not care for feelings of five lakhs citizens of this country?- Editor)
Dr. Shete said that sending such letters has another purpose i.e. showing support to the widows of the martyr soldiers and similar letters will also be sent to the Central Home Minister for State, Shri. Shivraj Patil. Dr. Shete said further that bringing a stay on the execution of terrorist is a grave insult of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives. One should realize that nation is greater than the family.
