Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Organised a protest against Govt in order to provide basic facilities to Kashmiri Hindus. Many Hindu Activists from organisations like HJS, Sriram Sene and Kashmiri Hindu Samiti participated in this protest.

January 19 is a black day for Kashmiri Hindus. On Jan 19, 1990 terrorists openly threatened Hindus telling “Hindus, Leave Kashmir or get converted or get ready to die” through news papers and pamphlets. As a result of this 8.5 lakhs of Hindus left Kashmir and became refuges in their own motherland. Many Kashmiri Hindus were killed as they did not leave Kashmir. The wealth and properties of Kashmiri Hindus were taken over, Temples were vandalised and Hindu women were raped.

From last 23 years, Kashmiri Hindus are living a life without basic facilities. Only 1 toilet for 4000 people, 1 hut for 1 family, basic facilities and medical facilities are not provided properly. Government is blind on the griefs of Kashmiri Hindus and behaving as if Kashmiri Hindus are not citizens of this country. Congress leaders and so-called Human right activists who scream while an illegal Bangladeshi immigrant is sent back, but do not utter a single word for Kashmiri Hindus, who were tortured brutally and treated like trash in their own land.

Demands made by Hindus

1.Central government must provide basic facilities and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus.
2. Article 370 must be taken back.
