Gangasagar (West Bengal) : About 5 lakh pilgrims had holy bath at Gangasagar during ‘Makar-sankrant Parva’. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) and Sanatan Sanstha had put up stalls of books and other products. Boards with matters related to Dharma were also displayed to create awareness amongst people. Handbills were distributed giving information about activities of HJS and Sanatan Sanstha. HJS activists and Sanatan seekers contacted pro-Hindu organizations and activists and held lectures in Saints’ ashrams and various organizations on ‘Dharmajagruti’. Efforts were made for unification of Hindus and positive response was received.

1. An officer of Intelligence Department paid visit to exhibition of books. ‘Incidents are happening against ‘Hindutva’. I am a staunch Hindu and awareness should be created towards this’, he said and expressed opinion in favour of HJS. He also purchased a book on ‘love jihad’. (Ploy of officer of Intelligence Dept. to mislead HJS activists by talking in favour of ‘Hindutva’ ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

2. In a press conference held in the camp of Govardhan Pithadheeshwar Swami Nishchalanand Saraswati at Gangasagar, two Muslim reporters were present and they purchased book on ‘love jihad’.

3. Numbers of total Christian countries and Islamic countries were written on one flex board whereas against Bharat, it was written as ‘Adharma (unrighteous)’. One devotee objected and asked to remove that word. (We need Hindus who are active against those making India unrighteous country rather than getting angry about use of the word ‘Adharm’ for India ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

4. Shri. Khudiran Mandal from Durgapur is a ‘stamp vendor’ in Court. He visited exhibition before having holy bath. Experiencing ‘sattvik’ atmosphere at the exhibition place, he narrated his spiritual experience. He said, “I saw Gangamata in my dream who asked me to have holy bath at Gangasagar; therefore, I am here.” After bath also, he came to the exhibition. He purchased few books and stated that he would be giving more time for ‘Dharma-karya’.

Attempts made by HJS and Sanatan Sanstha for creating awareness towards Dharma through different mediums

Hindus from Gangasagar scared of fanatic Muslims !

1. There was 2 % Muslim population at Gangasagar; but in past ten years, it has increased to 12.6 %. It is creating displeasure amongst local residents.

2. News was spread that ‘ISI’, Pakistan’s jihadi intelligence agency would mix poison in Gangasagar Lake which created suspicion amongst people against Muslims.

3. Shri. Srimat Abhayanand Saraswati Maharaj, the Founder of ‘Hindu Sanatan Dharma Prachar Ashram Sangh’ had said to his disciples 5-6 years back that ‘During 2020-2021, there will be struggle with Muslims. In 2013, there will be heap of dead bodies of unrighteous people on the roads and in 2024, Hindu Rashtra will be established.’ The disciples told about it while interacting with activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS).

4. With this background, the demand for the book ‘love jihad’ in book exhibition was more compared to other books. Muslims are harassing Hindus using various methods but nobody says anything about it openly; nor does anyone show guts to do anything. Few ‘jidnyasus’ said that ‘you have compiled important data on the subject, published a book and are selling it, which is very inspiring.’

Will join activities related to ‘Hindutva’ through HJS ! – Pujya Premanandteertha Nath

I was working for ‘Hindutva’ through Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) for many years. While organizing Saints conventions etc. I felt that VHP was working for ‘Hindutva’; but later realized that they were using it for political purpose; so gave up that path; but I am happy to learn about your activities for ‘Hindutva’ and I will certainly join them.’
