Stop abuse of national flags taking place on the occasion of Republic Day !

Dharashiv : National flag means national identity. It is, however, forgotten and paper or plastic national flags proudly displayed on 26th January are found lying on roads or thrown in gutters after some time. It is abuse of national flag and is punishable offence. The Government should take immediate action to prevent such abuse by prohibiting use of paper and plastic flags. The above demand has been made by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti through representation submitted to Shri. Nagargoje, the District Collector . He has responded positively to the representation and promised HJS delegation of issuing a circular to all districts in this connection.
