Rome :  Priests/ Pastors from church will be imparted special training in Italy for removal of possession by spirits. It has been observed that people are involved in carrying out experiments on others through the medium of internet like black magic, possession by evil spirits etc. This is leading to many people getting affected with ‘possession’. The church has therefore, decided to appoint experts for taking remedial action against possession, considering increasing demand. A special training program has been started to train missionaries and priests/ pastors in churches.

After release of movies like ‘Exorcist’, ‘Omen’ etc. in western countries, there is rise in cases of possession by evil spirits; but extreme secrecy is observed in training of fighting against these things. Moreover, Pope feels that Christians would approach fake ‘Babas’ or experts from other religions to solve their problems if church fails in providing remedy for such problems.
