Mumbai:
Shri. Uddhav Thackeray, the Chief Executive of Shiv Sena declared strong opposition against the two anti-Hindu Acts proposed by the State Government related to 'Black Magic' and ' Temple take-over'. He also declared his party's full support to the delegation of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) for their agitation undertaken in this connection.

A meeting was held at Shiv Sena Bhavan by Shri Uddhav Thackeray with Dr. Durgesh Samant, the national spokesperson of HJS along with trustees of Jain temple committee, representatives of Ayyappa temple committee and members of HJS and Sanatan Sanstha when party MLAs and chief editor of 'dainik Samna' were also present.

Dr. Samant explained about the two proposed Acts in detail. He also submitted to oppose the Black magic Bill and the Temple takeover Bill. Shri. Uddhav Thackeray said that 'nationalisation' of temples Act is like the saying 'remedy is more dangerous than the ailment'. If the Govt. is planning to take over Hindu temples, his party would oppose such move. Shri. Raote is already fighting against the Black Magic Bill. He suggested that HJS delegation meet Shri. Ramdas Kadam and Shri. Gajanan Kirtikar, the Opposition leaders in connection with the Temple take over Act and discuss the issue with them.

Shri Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson of HJS for the State showed Shri. Thackeray the website of HJS and various issues taken up by the Samiti. Dr. Durgesh Samant presented a book and CD on Shiva to Shri. Thackeray.

Shri Ramdas Kadam, the Opposition leader assured the delegation of HJS that he has always supported the drives against M F Hussain or Black Magic Bill and now for Temple take over Bill also, he would strongly register his opposition. He said, "There is a need to create awareness among people towards such Bills. Shiv Sena will also help HJS in organizing such meetings at various places for creating awareness."
