New Delhi : Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar on Tuesday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, is a joker who has a dirty mouth.

“I do not support Narendra Modi at all. He is nothing but a joker. He has a dirty mouth and that is evident in his speeches,” said Aiyar.

“He has no knowledge of our know history, economics or law. He says whatever and whenever he feels like,” he added.

“This kind of a person cannot become the prime minister of our country and even if he does, he will not last long,” he said.

Responding to the election results and the plans of the Congress, he said failure is a part of politics and the winning party should not get too arrogant about their success.

“Ours is a party that will come up with resilience. We are not opportunists; we do not run after success. Failure is a part and parcel of politics. Though, it is very important for the winning party not to get arrogant,” he said.

On asking who he thinks could give competition to Narendra Modi from the Congress for the prime ministerial post, he said their party will reveal that when the right time arrives.

We have twenty leaders who can give competition to Modi, but the BJP just has one. We will reveal the name when the right time arrives,” he said.
