It is impossible to construct Islamic University at Tirupati ! – Sri Sri Ravishankar

Bengaluru – Islamic University is being constructed in unauthorized manner at Tirupati and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has taken initiative to oppose this construction under the auspices of ‘Tirumal Tirupati Pavitrya Sanrakshan Samiti (Committee to protect sanctity of Tirupati)’. Seekers of Sanatan Sanstha and activists of HJS had ‘darshan’ of Sri Sri Ravishankar and apprised him of the agitation seeking his blessings. Sri Sri Ravishankar said in response, “The agitation has my blessings. It is impossible to construct Islamic University at Tirupati.”

HJS has been staging State-wide agitation for the last two months and as its outcome, District Collector has issued an order to demolish unauthorized 5 storeys of the University. It is preliminary success of HJS. HJS will continue its agitation till the construction of University is completely demolished. Sri Sri Ravishankar  was informed about the agitation, which has been given the name as ‘Tiruapti Chalo’, being staged on 20th December and participation of about 10,000 devout Hindus.
