Case filed against office bearers of ‘Samartha Vidya-Prasarak Mandal’ for insulting Shivaji Maharaj

Nagar – ‘Shri. Samartha Vidya Prasarak Mandal (Samartha Mandal)’ had taken out a procession on the occasion of ‘Das-Navami’ wherein a scene was depicted with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj paying obeisance to Ramdas Swami; but by showing Shivaji Maharaj, who has identity of his own, bowing before Ramdas Swami is in a way insult of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, claimed workers of Sambhaji Brigade while filing a case against office bearers of ‘Samartha Mandal’ with police station. (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj considered Samartha Ramdas Swami as his Guru; so considering his bowing before his Guru insulting, is only insulting. In fact, Shivaji Maharaj paying his obeisance to his Guru is an ideal for all ! Today, however, Hindus are not united, therefore, anyone and everyone comes and spits venom against Hindus’ Saints and Dharma. Hindus need to unite at least now to stop these things ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) A procession was organised by ‘Samartha Mandal’, Sangle Lane in which students had participated; attired in clothes depicting Ramdas Swami, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and ‘mawlas’ etc. In one scene, it was shown that Shivaji Maharaj was bowing before Ramdas Swami.  Workers of Sambhaji Brigade staged agitation at police station to oppose the procession claiming that there was no proof of Shivaji Maharaj and Samartha Ramdas meeting each other. (There are enough proofs of meeting between both in manuscripts of the period of Shivaji Maharaj; but people making baseless allegations are against true history ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) The demonstrators demanded to take action against those organising such procession.
