Preserving their principles, RSS members do not even frankly express their views to their leaders, for unification of Hindus !

Kartik Krushnapaksha 1, Kaliyug Varsha 5115

We had gone to VHP’s office to give them invitation of ‘Dharma-sabha’ being held with Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalananda from Govardhan-Peetha, Puri as the Chief Guest. There were office bearers of even Bajarang Dal, VHP and RSS. After giving invitation, given below is the conversation that took place with Shri. Gaikwad of Bajarang Dal. – Shri. Prasad Mankar and Shri. Chandrakant Bhadirke, Mumbai

1. Bajarang Dal’s office bearers angry with news published in ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ about ‘Sarsanghchalak’ !

Shri. Gaikwad told about how RSS emphasised importance of Hindu Dharma to Muslims and brought them under aegis of Hindu Dharma. He said, “Dainik Sanatan Prabhat is publishing wrong things, they are directly accusing ‘Sarsanghchalak’ of being ‘ISI’ agent. (Sanatan Prabhat has never published such things; even then, Bajarang Dal’s office bearers are accusing Sanatan. What else is expected from an organisation that propagates Sanatan Sanstha as an organisation of Christians ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) RSS is the only organisation working at national level and he is its Chief. How can you make such accusations against him ? (Sanatan does not believe in loyalty to any one person but in loyalty to God; therefore, Sanatan criticises wrong things ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) There can be differences of opinion; but that should be within 4 walls. If you had any issues, you should have met Ashok Singhalji or Bhagavat and expressed your views to them.” (If Chief of RSS is publicly making wrong statements about God, it has to be argued openly ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

2. Bajarang Dal office bearers support RSS although they do not agree with RSS stance !

Shri. Gaikwad said further, “Does your writer consume liquor while writing in ‘Sanatan Prabhat’? (‘Sanatan Prabhat’ has never used un-Parliamentary language while arguing with anyone’s thinking; but such statement of Bajarang Dal’s office bearer shows their mentality ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Is unification possible by writing such things? (Gaikwad should have explained achievements of RSS in 80 years about its efforts on unity ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) I too do not agree with few views of RSS; but should I talk about it in such manner ? (Gaikwad should tell about the views of RSS to which he does not agree as it is possible that his views and views expressed by ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ could match ! If one does not believe in some views of RSS, its office bearers should have forthrightness to openly talk about it. Is it not detrimental for those, who are working for the nation, to have loyalty only to certain person ? When will RSS realise that such things create obstacles in work and result in becoming directionless. If RSS members who feel that some views of RSS are wrong and they bring them to the notice of RSS leaders, it can create awareness in them; but that does not happen. Does it mean that there is no transparency in RSS ? It is always wrong to refuse truth under the guise of discipline ! RSS members, who do not like frank and true opinions, need to introspect.’ – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

3. Gaikwad talking about lot of expectations of Hindus from RSS and Sarsanghchalak; but tries to avoid the topic

We tried to explain to him our views when following conversation took place.

I (Prasad Mankar) : There seems to be some misunderstanding or you gave got wrong information. Hindus have lot of expectations from RSS and Sarsanghchalak. When Sarsanghchalak makes statements against Dharma, Hindus feel bad. Regarding the article, it has been written with a feeling of ‘a young brother bringing old brother’s mistakes to his notice’. Editor’s views are also given along with the news; therefore, please remove your misunderstanding.

Shri. Gaikwad : Those, who are driven out of RSS, are taken in by you. You give them platform. Pramod Mutalik, Tapan Ghosh were removed; but you brought them close to you. Did you not verify the reasons behind their removal ? Are you going to have such unification ? (Pramod Mutalik, Tapan Ghosh are staunch Hindus. They did not agree with confused, spiritless Hinduism of RSS; therefore, they left RSS and started working for ‘Hindutva’ at individual level. They agreed with the views of Sanatan and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS); therefore, they came close to Sanatan and HJS. There can be several members in RSS who do not agree with viewspoints of RSS; but it is possible that since they do not have capacity to work individually, they have remained in RSS. RSS needs to think about it; else when staunch pro-Hindu activists leave RSS, only office bearers will remain with them ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) You and me are ordinary activists. I don’t want to say anything about you; but what is happening at higher level is not right. (Bhagavan Sriram left Mata Seeta over a statement made by one ordinary washer man. Hindus have such ideals. If RSS is not bothered about opinion of ordinary members or they are not allowed to speak, then how can RSS progress ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

4. HJS activists explain about their coming to extend invitation of Hindu Dharmaguru’s ‘Dharma-sabha’ as they had no hard feelings in mind

Shri. Prasad Mankar : We have come here to give you invitation of Dharma-sabha of our Dharma-Guru. If we wanted to have this program by ourselves and had any ill-feelings about you, would we come to you with such earnestness ? Please don’t keep anything in mind and do come for the program which is for all of us. Please also tell us about how to advertise about the same. (Do such broad-mindedness is shown by RSS office bearers to small pro-Hindu organisations ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

With this and exchanging Diwali greetings, we left.

‘Bhagavat’s statements are not to be taken seriously ! – one RSS member

‘Yesterday, I met one RSS member. While talking to him, the topic of Sarsanghchaklak’s statement regarding ‘forgetting Gods-Goddesses and serving Bharatmata’ cropped up. That time, he said, “What Bhagavat says is not to be taken seriously” If RSS members only say such things, why will others take him seriously ?’ – One seeker (8.11.2013)
