Dhar : Shri. Navalkishore Sharma, who has been fighting for freeing Hindus’ ancient Bhojshala temple in Dhar, has decided to fight election from Dhar constituency considering the demand of pro-Hindu activists from all over India and insistence of local citizens. Shri. Sharma filed his application as an independent candidate on 8th November at 1.00 p.m. at District Collector’s office. Shri. Vishnudas Maharaj from Udasin Ashram, Bakaner, Shri. Manish Manjul, the General Secretary of ‘Samartha Sanghatana’ from Delhi, Shri. Vinay Panwalkar from Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and 50 activists, who fought for Bhojshala under leadership of Shri. Sharma, were present on the occasion.

Ten days back, BJP had offered him a seat for contesting elections as their candidate. When it was announced by BJP, all local residents expressed their happiness by distributing sweets; but Shri. Sharma had made it clear in a press conference that he would never fight election for BJP, the anti-Hindu party which had invited Muslims to read ‘namaz’ at Bhojshala on the day of Vasant-Panchami’. Later, Shri. Sharma took decision of contesting election as an independent candidate due to people’s insistence. As a result, BJP is contesting the seat with another candidate.

There are 2, 50,000 voters in Dhar constituency with 262 polling booths. There are 800 – 1000 voters in every booth. An office has been opened in Dharnagari for canvassing for Shri. Sharma. Shri. Sharma has planned to visit every area in his constituency for at least two times before election. A review meeting will be held every two days with his activists engaged in canvassing for him.

The local citizens are responding positively to Shri. Sharma contesting election and every day, some fund is getting collected for election purpose. (Look at candidates, who spend huge black money for their canvassing and who distribute money to people for getting their votes, thus encouraging corruption; whereas Shri. Navalkishore Sharma is contesting election as an independent candidate, from the money offered by people ! People are offering money because of the sacrifice of Shri. Sharma towards protection of Dharma, country and people. Do such things happen in case of a candidate from any political party ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
