Hubli (Karnataka) : The State Level Hinduism Summit was inaugurated in the holy presence of Saints and devout pro-Hindu leaders. Pujya Sevalal Swamiji, Pranavananda Swamiji (Hindu Mahasabha), Param Pujya Siddhalinga Mahaswamiji (Nargund), Shri Shri Dandapani Deekshit Swamiji (Savadatti), Shri Siddalinga Shivacharya Swamiji (Nargund), Shri. Ravish Tantri Kuntaru (Hindu Aikya Vedike), Shri. Pramod Muthalik (Sriram Sene), Shri. Ramesh Shinde (National Spokesperson, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti) were present during the inauguration. Shri. Mohan Gowda (State Spokesperson, HJS) explained the purpose of the Hinduism Summit to the audience. Also, H. H. Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavale’s message to the Summit was read out. 160 devout Hindus were present for the first day of the Summit.

People of other faiths will never face oppression in Hindu Rashtra – Shri Ramesh Shinde

In his address, Shri. Ramesh Shinde said ‘the Summit is being organized with the aim of uniting the Hindus, organizing programs on a common platform and thereby providing a direction to the Hindu society. Also, with regard to the 2014 Elections, the Hindu policy will be decided. All this will be accomplished through the medium of the Summit. The political leaders need to take oaths to proclaim their patriotism. But the Hindus do not need to resort to such antics. The Hindu Rashtra (nation) will not be oppresive when it comes to people of other faiths. There will be no discrimination based on caste, instead everyone will have the same rights’.

Even if thousands of notices are sent, neither Sriram Sene nor HJS will budge – Shri Pramod Muthalik

Shri Pramod Muthalik also spoke during the inauguration and said ‘Today, notices are sent to the organisers of Hinduism Summits. But no such notices are sent to programs organized by Muslims or Christians. This is because they enjoy Smt. Sonia Gandhi’s support. Every single grain of this nation resonates with Hindutva! Let alone one, even if thousands of notices are sent, neither Sriram Sene nor Hindu Janajagruti Samiti will budge! We wonder whether Sushil Kumar Shinde is Pakistan’s Home Minister. My name has been maligned to such an extent that when shifting my office from Belagavi to Hubli, 4-5 homeowners refused to rent their premises to me ! They have characterised me as a ‘Hindu goon’. The government is bringing infamy to proHindus in such fashion.’

A soldier should come out of every house – Pujya Sevalal Swamiji

Pujya Sevalal Swamiji said ‘The youth should become patriotic as well as Dharmabhimanis. For this to happen, our education system should include the biographies of martyrs and freedom fighters. Every household should create a soldier. The law should ensure that the Hindu sentiments are protected.’

Hindus need ‘sanskars’! – Shri. Ravish Tantri Kuntaru

Shri. Ravish Tantri Kuntaru said that ‘our work is creating awareness in people. The Hindus are cursed due to the lack of Sanskars (values). To remedy this we need to inculcate Sanskars in them’.
