'India News' channel attempts to defame H. H. Asaram Bapu and his devotees

‘Devotees of H. H. Asaram Bapu are behaving in improper manner with ex-devotees, threatening them; is such behaviour right ?’ was the topic of discussions held on ‘India-News’ channel telecast on 2nd November at 8.00 p.m. Jeetu Soni, the Editor of ‘Lokswami’, Shri. Akhilesh Tiwari, a supporter of H. H. Asaram Bapu, his then secretary Rahul, the then attendant Ajaykumar (whose face was not shown; but only a figure was shown in dark) and Sanatan Sanstha’s spokesperson, Shri. Anand Jakhotia took part in these discussions. Discussion session lasted only for half an hour without coming to any conclusion in the end. Thus, the purpose of holding such discussion session remained vague.

So-called accusations by the then secretary and attendant of H. H. Asaram Bapu !

The then secretary of H. H. Asaram Bapu, Rahul said, “Devotees of H.H. Asaram Bapu are troubling me. There are threats to kill me like naxalites, am lured with money for blackmailing and am being mentally harassed.”
The then attendant Ajaykumar said, “H.H. Asaram Bapu’s 8-10 devotees come home and threaten. They harass even my brother and parents.”

Shri. Akhilesh Tiwari clearly explains about so-called accusations against H. H. Asaram Bapu !

Shri. Akhilesh Tiwari, while speaking clearly about his standpoint on so-called accusations, said, “They should have lodged complaints if they were harassed; they should knock the doors of Court. If there is truth in devotees threatening, such devotees will be punished.”

Truth behind accusations made against devotees of H.H. Asaram Bapu needs to be verified ! – Shri. Anand Jakhotia

Program host Deepak Chaurasia asked Shri. Anand Jakhotia, the spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha that when Narayan Sai and H. H. Asaram Bapu’s devotees were behaving in such manner; would he still support them ? Shri. Jakhotia said, “Poojya Narayan Sai should go to police and we have said it right from the beginning. Those, who have been harassed by H. H. Bapu’s devotees, should lodge complaint with police station. Those, who are guilty, should be punished; but the other side should also be presented. The truth in accusations should be verified; everyone is, however, ignoring that. Few devotees are making baseless allegations which are telecast by the media; but the accusations which turned out to be false, were not shown by them. Is it right ?”

Indecent language used against Saints by Editor, Jeetu Soni !

Jeetu Soni said, “These are not saints but demons.” (Will an Editor using such language be able to guide people ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) It is the moral duty of Narayan Sai to show himself. Akhilesh Tiwari should advise him to come back.”

India-News channel shows insulting matter through news-tickers

When nothing has been proved against H. H. Asaram Bapu and Poojya Narayan Sai, the following news tickers were shown by this news channel

Baap andar, beta farar (father in jail; son absconding); chele ban gaye Gunde-mawali (followers become hooligans)
Kisi ko ghoos, kisi ko gaali, kisi ko goli (bribe to someone, abuse to some and bullets for others )
Gunde-mawali chelonke Guru kya honge ? (How will be a Guru of offenders and loafers ?)

Doubts raised in viewers’ mind after watching discussion program

It is expected that the topic discussed on TV channels is for people to know every aspect of it; but present TV channels are holding discussion programs in such manner that it becomes difficult for viewers to know their objective. Following doubts were raised by viewers after watching the program on India-news channel

When there is no outcome of discussions, are such programs held only to raise channel’s TRP ?
Are such programs conspiracy to defame H. H. Asaram Bapu ?
When there is no truth in accusations, where is the need to have such programs ?
Why invitees called by channel to present H.H. Asaram Bapu’s side, are treated badly ? Why they are not allowed to present their standpoint ?
