A book titled ‘The Blood Telegram: Nixon, Kissinger and a forgotten genocide’ written by Gary Bass is on sale in the market. The book gives detailed information on genocide of Hindus that took place at the time of creation of Bangla Desh and persons and countries responsible for the same. The book is, therefore, of great significance to Hindus. Nowadays, we learn about Indian history, corruption by politicians and other things through foreign media, writers or politicians and diplomats which is very unfortunate. Hindu-hatred of Congress has been once again exposed through the book ‘The Blood Telegram….’; moreover, the true nature of America, which is hypocrisy, insensitivity and inhumanity, has been brought forth although USA portrays itself as champion of  human rights and religious freedom.

Sin of Congress

Our late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi took initiative in freeing Bangla Desh. War is normally fought between soldiers of two countries; but the picture was slightly different during freedom fight of Bangla Desh. There was inordinate oppression of Hindus by Pakistani army; Hindu women were raped; children and men were tortured to death. Smt. Indira Gandhi, however, suppressed these facts. That time Jana Sangh was the party working for Hindus in India. Smt. Gandhi feared that if Jana Sangh learnt about genocide of Hindus, they would create chaos; therefore, she avoided to use the words as ‘Hindus’ genocide’; instead it was always said as ‘genocide of Bengalis’. Smt. Gandhi preferred to save her throne rather than talk about genocide of Hindus. She therefore, committed the sin of hiding the truth. Her followers continued the tradition of hiding true history; however, truth can be suppressed only for some time and not all the time. As such, the sin of Congress was once again exposed through the said book. Hindu-hatred of Congress is, actually not new for us but after reading the book, we come to know that its hatred is inordinate. Congress tried to cover up true history by playing with the words and misleading people by using the word ‘Bengali’ so that people did not come to know it was Hindu genocide or use ‘Kashmiri Pundits’ for the genocide of Hindus in Kashmir.

Hindu-hatred of America !

America has the habit of interfering in internal matters of every country. Such interference is explained by them as their efforts to maintain peace in the world. Why America did not interfere when Hindus were massacred by Bangla Deshi army although Archer Blood the then US Commissioner, in Bangla Desh had informed US Government about such genocide through a telegram. The then President Nixon and the then Minister for External Affairs, Henry Kissinger, however, preferred to keep quiet. In fact, Mr. Blood was called back from Dhaka as he took US Government to task. In the name of humanity, US warned Indian Government after so-called riots instigated by Hindus as an outcome of murder of Swami Lakshmananda Saraswati; refused VISA to Shri. Narendra Modi by accusing him of ‘a blot on humanity’. Is it not double-standard of US ?  

Congress and US have committed sin of hiding oppression of Hindus’ ancestors. They should be taken to task for the same; but where are RSS and BJP at such time ? Don’t RSS and BJP have any feelings towards this issue when it is a very sensitive matter for Hindus ?

Irresponsible media !

Gary Bass is a well known journalist from USA; he is also a professor teaching ‘Politics and international problems’ at Princeton University. In this book, Mr. Bass has presented points based on the survey conducted by Mr. Blood after proper study. Investigative journalism with proper study is still undertaken in US; but it is not the case in India. Late P. B. Bhave, a renowned journalist had gone to Bangla Desh during that war and reported atrocities against Hindus; therefore, Hindus could come to know about it; but how many journalists tried to investigate such incidents ? Media did not even think of other alternatives like review of this book or interviewing Bass etc. Media, spending 1-1/2 months in undertaking drive against H. H. Asaram Bapu, defaming him every day, do not seem to get time for such constructive work.

One should learn from one’s past and plan for better future; but Hindus remain ignorant about their past. All those, who deprived Hindus from knowing the truth, are offenders and should be punished.
