Tirupati : HJS activists and Hindu leaders protesting against Islamic University

Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh) : Is the Central Government, Andhra Pradesh State Government and Tirupati Urban Development Authority sleeping after so many protest by Hindus ? If not, why the government or TUDA has not issued a single statement regarding Islamic University in Tirupati ? Do the protests and sentiments of Hindus have no value?  Andhra Pradesh State Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Shri. Chetan Janardan asked these questions during the protest outside TUDA office against Islamic University.

Local Hindu leaders had taken the initiative and made arrangements to set a protest in front of the TUDA office. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti joined the local Hindu leaders. Slogans were raised against the TUDA for being blind to stop the illegal construction of Islamic University. At the end of the protest Hindus gave Memorandum to the TUDA Principal Secretary.

HJS’s Andhra Pradesh Spokesperson Shri. Chetan Janardan urged the TUDA to stop the construction, otherwise the protest will move to the national level. And in the month of November HJS will protest again with thousands of Hindus in Tirupati.

Shri. Jayachandra Raju of ShriKrishna Chaitanya Ashram from Chittoor District during his speech said, “Officers who do not take any action against this issue should be suspended.”

BJYM National coordinator Shri. Mahipal Reddy said, “If a common man builds an illegal construction in Tirupati TUDA will take immediate action but here no action has been taken by TUDA when a 7 storied illegal building is being built in Tirupati from last 5 years. Is this due to Secularism ?”

Social Activist Shri Akula Krishna Kishore, SV University SC ST Employees Association’s Shri Murali K and SV University Hindu Vidyarthi JAC Convener Shri Nadamuni were the main leaders who were present in the protest.
