New Delhi : In history text book of ICSE curriculum for 9th standard, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Maharana Pratap have been insulted, said Sou. Purnima Prabhu, an activist of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti from Bangalore. Sou. Prabhu has written a letter to S. L. Kile, the writer and publisher of this text book demanding removal of statements insulting Hindu kings. It has been stated in the letter that there was a reference made to revolt by Maratha, Rajput, Sikh and Jaat as troublesome for Aurangzeb’s regime.’ It is an insult of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who established ‘Hindavi Swarajya’ (Hindu Kingdom).

Sedition of writer/ publisher continues : He confirms his statement about troublesome Maratha, Rajputs, Sikhs and Jaats!

In an answer to this letter, the publishers of the said book have said that the word ‘troublesome’ used for Maratha, Rajput, Sikh and Jaats is appropriate. (It shows insolence of publishers. There is no alternative to establishment of Hindu Rashtra to stop insult of great national leaders ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) The publishers have informed that ISCE Education Board should be contacted for any changes required to be made in the text book.
