Timely action by proud Hindu activists of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha's seekers stopped the abuse of Hindu deities planned in a lecture of Dr Dabholkar, organised by the Girgaon Topiwala Lecture series. Hindu activists had already registered complaint with the Police about the warning of the possible abuse of Hindu deities in the lecture. Accordingly, the Police warned the organisers that if any such thing ever happened, stern action would be taken against offenders as well as the Organisers.
Dr. Narendra Dabholkar of the AndhaShraddha Nirmoolan Samiti has always taken pride in speaking against Hindu deities, Customs, Rituals and Tradtitions. The scientific Fundamentalism(Talibanism) of ANS has always targetted only Hindu Dharma.
Today again Dr. Dabholkar spoke, but with a certain burden on himself. He did not lash out against Hindu Dharma openly as he always does. He spoke in an indirect tone. Trying to get the Sympathy of the women folk, Dr. Dabholkar said, "Dharma gives substandard status to women, that is why it needs to be inspected!". In a very dramatic lecture, Dr. Dabholkar said, "We do not say leave your deities and Dharma and come to us. The concept of deities and Dharma as per ANS is 100% in compliance with our constitution".
The only concept that is prevalent in ANS and what seems to be evident from every single line of their literature is Atheism coupled with pro-"Vidrohi" thoughts supported by the pro-Dalit political parties. This same Dr. Dabholkar has previously abused Hindu deities at several places.
The ANS is making a law called as the anti-Superstition law now, some of the clauses of which are sufficient to put a ban of several Hindu Spiritual Scriptures like Vedas, Upanishads, the Bhagavad Geeta and imprison anyone performing rituals like Satyanarayan Mahapooja or Ganeshotsav. According to the Anti-Superstition law, everything is blind faith including faith in God. The law is nothing but an irrational scientific intellectual fundamentalism.
Towards the end of the program, the Organisers heaved a big sigh of relief and Sanatan's seekers distributed Pamphlets showing the horrific clauses of the Anti-Superstition law and how they could be misused to imprison any believer in God and Spirituality. Especially the pro-Buddhists would the law to their advantage. People were curiously looking at the pamphlets and several of them agreed that there was no need for such a law.
