Warkaris will fight anti-Hindu bill with all their might

Satara: On recommendations of the 15th Law Commission, the Maharashtra State is planning to take over Hindu temples. Earlier in 1997, the Government of Karnataka passed similar Act and spent the money collected in temples for the benefit of madarssas, Haj pilgrims and churches. On behalf of Warkari Sect, a press conference was held at Satara in which the Committee has warned that government’s attempts to pass such anti-Hindu Acts would be foiled.

A conference has been organized on behalf of the State Warkari Sectarians, which was attended by many prominent leaders of the Sect and other Hindu Organizations along with members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Sanatan Sanstha. The Warkari Commission has been working towards protecting the Hindu literature written by saints, towards protection of Hindu gods, nation and Dharma. All eminent members of the Sect from all over the State would be participating in the conference.

Following resolves were proposed to be passed in the conference –

1. Withdraw the proposed anti-Hindu Acts on Black Magic and taking over of temples
2. 50 % discount in fares should be offered to the Warkaris to undertake pilgrimages.
