New Delhi : The Member parliament who boycotted Vande Mataram in Parliament should be arrested and he should be debarred from the parliament. Taking serious note on the issue shri Satyendra Mohan, the state secretary general of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Delhi today demanded that the BSP MP Shafiqur Rahman Barq should immediately be taken into custody for his anti-national act. Speaker of the parliament must debar him from the primary membership of the parliament and Ms Mayawati, should also expel him from her party, he added after a VHP Meeting.

Detailing about the Meeting, the state Media chief of VHP Shri. Vinod Bansal said that we have adopted a resolution in our meeting held today. The VHP resolution says that it is a matter of grave concern that an MP has boycotted and paid disrespect to our national song in parliament but no political party or any other so called social activists have demanded arrest of the MP for this anti national act. Isn’t it a hyper case of Muslim appeasement policy of our politicians ? The VHP demanded that the Loksabha speaker Mrs Meera Kumar should expel the MP from Parliament and BSP chief Ms Mayawati must expel Shafiqur Rahman Barq from the primary membership of her party.

The state vice president of VHP shri Mahavir Prasad, organizing Secretary shri Karuna Prakash, secretary shri Ram Pal Singh, state Bajrang Dal chief shri Shiv Kumar, Durga Vahini chief shrimati Sanjana Chaudhary were amongst those present in the meeting.
