Chaitra Krushnapaksha 9, Kaliyug Varsha 5115

Vivekanand International Foundation (VIF) together with Patriot forum organized a seminar on the subject on 20th April 2013 at VIF conference hall in Delhi.

Seminar was presided over by Mr KPS Gill and Chief guest was Dr Subramaniam Swamy. Others on the dias were Mr R K Ohri and Mr Ajit Doval. Convenor of seminar : Mr D C Nath

Dr. Swamy in his address stated categorically that if the Govt wants it can withdraw article 370 from Kashmir within 25 minutes and does not require parliament to pass any kind of resolution. Further added that the cause of problem is appeasement policy of Congress Govt. Dr. Swamy added that , in terms of the accession agreement signed at the time of partition, it was agreed that Kashmir shall be part of India and if Pakistan lays claim on any part of Kashmir that would mean not following accession agreement . if it is to be so then let accession agreement be reversed meaning thereby Pakistan merges back to India. All the provinces in Kashmir are muslim majority resulting in no representation of Hindus in state assembly and such imbalance has been created by congress. Dr. Swamy in lighter tone also mentioned to retd Gen Jacob sitting in audience to lead a million of ex servicemen and settle in Kashmir to put an end to this problem. He also added that Muslim wait for building a majority before they start to dictate the terms. So long as they are in minority they would not cause much problem. An example of Australia was given where one of the Mulla who expressed dissent on Uniform Civil code was asked to leave the country if he cannot follow same. Others Mulla’s being in minority and to control situation declared dissenting mulla as mad and does not have mind etc. Allowing therefore such a situation is not in the interest of the country. Dr. Swamy also expressed that one things he likes about muslims is that they are clear in their mind what they have to do but Hindus are confused.

Shri. R K ohri made a presentation on the reasons for current state of Kashmir.

Shri. Ajay Shri.ringu also addressed the audiences and emphasized on the need 1) considering the ouster of pandits from Kashmir as genocide and 2) demand for reversal of genocide.

Shri. K P S Gill in concluding address sited few examples when he went ahead to create balance of power in the absence of any policy rather he made his own policies. Bhinderwala wanted to create Khalistan by removing non Sikhs from Punjab and bringing back all the Sikhs to Punjab. Understanding the ill designs of Bhinderwala, Shri. KPS Gill as DG police focused on village with 4 or less Hindu families and protected them against any policy of the state. Mr Singh further added that a man who loses land loses identity and asked Kashmiris to demand a Union territory to keep the rich culture and heritage intact.

Seminar was attended by about 275 persons. On this occasion, Dr. Swamy lauched website of Patriot Forum. Next Seminar on subject “ Bangladesh infiltration is on 28th April at 5 PM at VIF
