New Delhi : The Central Government can declare ban on Sanatan Sanstha any time between June and October 2013. When senior officers in Central Home Ministry were visited, they said, “Discussions on this subject are deliberately held before elections. It will be checked whether the votes of minorities are with the Government. If it is found that the minority votes are with the Government; then ban might be imposed on Sanatan Sanstha and the Communal and Targetted Violence Act would be passed.

Imposition of ban on Sanatan Sanstha by anti-national and anti-Hindu Congress Government, will be like a certificate issued to Sanatan Sanstha for being patriotic and devout ! – H. H. Dr. Athavale (Paush Shukla Paksha 14, Kali Yuga Varsha 5114 [25.1.2013])

Imposition of ban on Sanatan will be a test to check whether the attitude of ‘Idam Na Mama’ has been really developed or not !

We are always taught that ‘Idam Na Mama’ means it is not mine; but do we truly feel that way? We have not studied the repercussions of such ban. It can be undertaken when ban is imposed or after the ban. If we have thoughts like after the ban, what will happen to Sanatan’s ashram or what about its books and products?, it will  indicate that we have forgotten that it is all illusion. Even though the feeling of belonging towards ashram and books is ‘sattvik’, that is also ‘Maya (illusion)’, can be learnt from such incidents. – Dr. Athavale (phalgun Pournima, Kali Yuga Varsha 5114 [27.3.2012])
