Hindus, offer gratitude onto Holy feet of Deity Shrikrushna for this success !

Hasan (Karnataka) :

A programme, Sanskrutik Saurabh’ was organised here by Kannad Cultural Department to create awareness among the public. It was proposed to stage a drama, ‘Puran Prahasan’ as a part of this programme. Since Hindu Janajagruti Samiti expressed its opposition to this drama, it was cancelled.

When the activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Kushalnagar learnt that this drama contains scenes denigrating Deities, they informed Mr. Ramesh Nayak, District Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti at Hasan. Mr. Ramesh Nayak visited the venue of the programme and met, along with proud Hindus, the director of drama Mr. Tumkuru Shivkumar. Mr. Nayak requested Mr. Shivkumar to delete the part consisting denigration from the drama, but Mr. Shivkumar expressed his inability to do so. On that occasion, Mr. Nayak said, “If our Dharma, Deities and religious sentiments are hurt, we will agitate within the framework of laws.’ Therefore the Cultural Department cancelled the drama.

On this occasion, District Director of Shriram Sene Mr. Hemant Kumar, activists of Samiti Mr. Pradip, Mrs. Chandrakala, Shrimati Sita Anand and Ms. Tejaswini were present.
