Stop denigration of Deities through crackers : HJS to AP Govt.

Bhagyanagar (Andhra Pradesh) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) Andhra Pradesh has made a demand with that State Government to prevent denigration of Deities and great national leaders taking place through crackers with their pictures. A representation to the above effect was submitted to the District Collectors of Indore (Nizamabad) and Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad). HJS activists met Police Commissioner, Anurag Sharma at Bhagyanagar and submitted the above representation. He told them that first he would like to investigate the matter.

Highlights

Police Commissioner does not meet anyone without prior appointment; but the activists prayed to Shrikrushna and then went to his office at 12.30 p.m. He called them in his cabin and held discussions with them on the said topic.
