Memorandum submitted to Deputy DC for preventing misconduct during Navaratri Festival

Satara (Maharashtra) :
A representation was submitted to Mr. Sonappa Yamgar, the Dy. District Collector at Satara for celebration of  Navaratri Festival in an ideal manner by preventing various malpractices taking place during celebration. Another representation was submitted for banning manufacture and sale of crackers with pictures of Hindu Deities and great National Heroes. A representation was also submitted to Dy. Education Officer, Mr. F. K. Jangam against ‘Andha-shraddha Nirmulan Samiti’ and ‘Vidnyan Vahini’ for illegally undertaking project called ‘Vaidnyanik Jaanivaa’ in schools and colleges. Activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) viz. Mr. Hanamant Kumbhar, Menkar, Sanjay Dhotmal, Sharad Bharangunde and members of its ‘Ranaragini’ branch, viz. Mrs. Rupa Mahadik, Kanchan Pundit, and Leela Nimbalkar along with other devout Hindus were present on the occasion.
